To get us back to football, it looks like 1.FC Köln is going to sign former Bayern goalkeeper Michael Rensing for the rest of the season.

It also means two of the biggest failures to wear the Bayern shirt in the past five years (pictured above) will be teammates again.

I hope Rensing has learned his lesson and will realize his potential at Köln.

The other guy in the photo?

Well, I actually wish the same for him too.

However, he might have his head stuck so far up his ass, he might not be able get it out anymore.

This kid has got to be one of the most annoying players I have ever encountered. He oozes arrogance and that is just such a huge turn-off. I kinda feel like smacking him as I read his words.

And who are these people at Tuttosport? Are the daft? Have they even seen Balotelli play? I mean he's had what? A couple games this season? No World Cup and was marginalized by his manager while he was at Inter getting but a few minutes...INCREDIBLE!!!!

So many great players out there and they give it to this punk.

    Dude, that's typical Italian arrogance.

Add his making more money than he should ever see in his life to it and you have the despicable moron that is Mario Balotelli.

It is easy to point to his battling racism through his childhood as being the cause for some of his problems.

And it is truly the cause for SOME of his problems.

But not this. This is just pure asshole of him.

Sorry to rehash old posts, but I agree with you here. A Leverkusen-Villarreal match would be incredible.

    Agree 100%.

I think the kid has wonderful talent, and I was secretly hoping that he would find his way to the Emirates where Wenger can hopefully mentor him. I am now relieved that he never came. (for one, Arsenal would never pay that price tag for a potential headcase :)

The way Balotelli handles himself on the pitch for City is just shockingly classless. I am just loving the Man City telenovela. I hope they spend more quid for a 5th place finish.

Dude, today, I was reading an article about Wenger's determination to stay within Arsenal's budget.

I make fun of Wenger about different things from time to time.

However, I fully respect and admire his resolve. The man does things the right way.

Sky Sports is reporting that Inter has indeed sacked "The Fraudulent One."

Soccernet claims there is still "confusion."

Another "hunch" on what we have going with "The Fraudulent One."

I think Inter and Man Shitty should just swap coaches despite the perceived "bad blood" between Mancini and Moratti.

I believe "The Fraudulent One" is angling to get out of his contract at Inter to be available to take over at Manchester Shitty if/when they sack Mancini.

Manchester Shitty would be the perfect club for "The Fraudulent One."

They have an owner with deep enough pockets for him to make all the stupid f#cking transfers he can make.

At Man Shitty, he can pay 20M pounds for a freakin' right back and no one will bat an eye.

That's the place he can be really successful doing it his own way.....

    ++++++++++++++++++

Gabriele Marcotti told Sky Sports News HD that Inter Milan are refusing to confirm Rafael Benitez's sacking because they do not want to pay him any compensation.

I do as well. A lot of "fairweather" fans of Arsenal....call for Wenger's head at least once a season..., but what they don't understand is that Arsenal is the ONLY top 4 team in the EPL that is not swimming in debt....routinely making money on transfers...

all in all....we are in good shape....the trophies will come...i am certain

Rafa has some balls....routinely demand 4 or 5 "big" players every window....and when the team fails to perform....ask for more...and blame it on not having enough money

And look at how long he got away with it at Liverpool!

But then again, no one ever accused that fan base of being the most intelligent.

If Henry's group hires "The Fraudulent One" again, they're crazy.

I think Rafa has his eye on the Man Shitty job.

Look for him to get that one.

If I were the gm at Citeh, I would consider giving Rijkaard a serious look.

    Rafa...no thanks...

I thought Inter should have hired Rijkaard.

I really do believe Rafa will wind up at Man Shitty.

Rijkaard is a good coach. Respect for him since his time as the Dutch coach and then setting Barcalona on their way back to success after a few barren years.

Don't want him to go to either City or Inter.
