Yeah, Ramos and Pique are their main traditional CBs. Azpilicueta has been playing as CB all season for Chelsea though. So I guess him and Nacho will act as back up/hybrid defenders.

I want Argentina to fail due to Argentinian sports media. I don't know if anyone here has been exposed to Argentinian sports media, but I have, and when it comes to their own athletes in any discipline they are just unbearable, hyping them up to a sometimes unrealistic level, case in point, Juan Martín del Potro. If you were to believe Argentinian media, he's right up there with the likes of Djokovic, Federer and Nadal. I also remember eight years ago when an Argentinian sports journalist said that the 1986 World Cup was the last good one because Argentina hasn't won it since. The sheer arrogance of such a statement is what makes enjoy Argentina fail.

 

outside of them being an annoying team. I'm also never a fan of any team where people only support/care about because of 1 player. All the people and journalists who support and want Argentina to win the WC it's just for Messi sake.

this is a team sport not a solo game and the WC is to represent an entire country, not to represent the ambitions of 1 player and is quest to cement his legacy, lol.
