Hockey is OK. It doesn't do a huge amount for me though.

I really, really enjoy American football though.

We relate to both baseball and basketball as most of us played rounders and netball up until the age of 10 or so when it became a purely female sport.

At that point the lads start on rugby and cricket. The girls switch to lacrosse at that time too. Both sexes played field hockey from 11.

Football is an ever present for boys only - girls never played at my school though maybe this has changed.

I doubt it has changed. I did a social science project regarding gender inequality in sports, and one thing I found was that there is a negative social stigma when it comes to girls playing football in England. Girls that play usually get outcasted, shunned from their social circles and get labled as lesbos over there.

I got to say that when I used to live in USSR, hand ball was a very popular sport. I played hand ball quite few times and it's one of the funnest sports to play.

I also love playing fresbee. One of my good friends is a professional fresbee players.

There's lots of things Forrest Gump did that I couldn't do.

    1) Play Ping-Pong
    2) Save Lt Dan
    3) Play football
    4) Cut grass
    5) Impregnate an AIDS infected whore

Seriously. I mean she gave birth to Forest Jr. who barely aged for nearly 30 years and as a result, developed the unique ability to see the non living.

I didn't get to see his round because I got up so late, but CBS just replayed a lot of Tiger's key shots from his 2nd Round 65 and some of his short irons/wedges had me :eek:. The shot he hit into that 660+ yd Par 5 (I think it's 15) was ridiculous. I think the Bridgestone is on par with or has surpassed The Players Championship as the unofficial 5th major - great course and so many great players.

LOTS of baseball, plus quite a bit of pre-season footy. Their pre-season NFL coverage starts this week, too.
