Alejandro Bedoya and Jozy in a public spat on twitter (started by Bedoya). Gotta say, Bedoya acts like an infant. My estimation of him wasn't high originally, and now it's pretty much in the toilet.

 

For those of us who aren't on Twitter... What's the beef all about?

Bedoya seems awfully petty about things like this, I'm not a Jozy fan but he has brought a lot more to the USMNT than Bedoya ever has and maybe privately teammates feel the same as Jozy does but keep things behind close doors

 

On Twitter there were at least 2 journalists, who were in the room when Bedoya made his comment, who said it was obvious that he wasn't serious when he made it. Awkward joke? Anyway, Jozy didn't have to respond the way he did. Unfortunately they both come out of this looking bad, in my opinion.

 

It's an overall trend for Alejandro. I don't blame Jozy for responding, but I did get annoyed at his comment that it's not the first time and bringing up locker room stuff. But I agree with @Dawdler , Bedoya needs to shut his trap on social media.

Hoping Bruce addresses this before the next US game.

Also, watched a good chunk of the Vancouver Tigres game. Vancouver had their chances, and should have buried them. Clear shots on goal a couple of times they flat out choked on. Feel bad for the own goal. (wince)

Ive never minded athletes having opinions and speaking out. I actually liked the tweet makes things interesting. Its about time MLS starts getting heated and creating something other than a manufactured rivalry

 

I'm sure your right (I haven't followed in the past) but in this particular case it wasn't Bedoya saying anything negative on social media. Someone else tweeted his comment w/o context. And we all know that how someone says something makes a big difference - friendly joke or public diss.

 

Yeah - it's his history on Twitter that gets to me. But fair enough in this case!!

 

Atlanta looked excellent again, today. Demolished a decent Chicago side that was down a man. So many teams sit back and lose intensity after getting that advantage; Atlanta, not so much.

 

Atlanta already annoys me. Sounders East.

 

Harry Shipp looks a lot better than either of our expensive euro mids. Our player evaluation is very very poor last couple years.
