Normally you can walk through a hallway under the supporters section. No idea if it will be different for this game but yes, usually you can do that.
Thanks paulalanr, you're awesome for making the trip. I couldn't blow everything else off. This was the game to do that though.
And that's how apathetic we've become. Couldn't even be bothered to post about the team selling the stadium naming rights to Exploria Resorts. Exploria Resorts is a timeshare management company based in Clermont. I have found no information on how long the contract is for, or for how much. Also, Exploria Stadium is going to be hosting the 2019 Cure Bowl. Yeah, it was bound to happen eventually. It's happening everywhere else. Scouting it out on Ticketmaster, it appears tickets are going to be dirt cheap. There are a few sections that will be premium prices (like the field level seats at the 50-yard line), but most of the tickets are $25, with The Wall being $20. They're not even going to deploy the retracted bleachers for The Wall, it seems; it's still advertised as "safe standing". The game is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, at 2pm.
It seems Orlando really is becoming the soccer capitol of America, if not all of CONCACAF. The @USWNT are coming to @ExploriaStadium! 🔴⚪️🔵— Orlando City SC (@OrlandoCitySC) January 6, 2021 Exploria Stadium is hosting two USWNT friendlies later this month. They will be playing Colombia on Monday, January 18, and Friday, January 22. This comes after Orlando played host to the MLS is Back Tournament at Disney's Wide World of Sports last summer to jump-restart the 2020 MLS season, and Exploria Stadium played host to the remainder of the 2020 CONCACAF Champions League last month. For social distancing purposes, tickets will be sold similarly to how Orlando City tickets were sold, with groups of 1-4 available and an attendance cap of 4,000. Ticket sales will open next Wednesday at 10am EST.
The U.S. Women's national soccer team may be sticking around in Orlando for a while. What did I say about Orlando becoming the soccer capitol of America? Exploria Stadium is scheduled to play host for the 2021 SheBelieves Cup. The tournament will include the U.S., Japan, Brazil, and France. It's scheduled February 18-24, with all games appearing on FS1 in English and Univision Deportes in Spanish. The matches will be double-headers, with limited ticket sales currently planned to each. Ticket sales are TBD.
The hits just keep on coming. Now the U.S. Men's national soccer team has booked a friendly at Exploria Stadium. They will be playing against Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday, January 31. Kickoff will be ~7:30pm EST. Capacity will be limited to 4,500. Slightly more than the WNT matches, so they will probably open the corners for this one. General sale will begin next Tuesday, with presales beginning on Friday.
Orlando's role as the Soccer Capitol of America continues to expand. NEWS: @ExploriaStadium will host six @GoldCup matches across the entire competition. 🏟 https://t.co/9btdIGK1IC pic.twitter.com/Uoh2xTWEtr— Inter&Co Stadium (@InterCo_Stadium) May 13, 2021 Exploria Stadium has been announced to host six matches for the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Orlando will be the home of Group C, which will consist of Jamaica, Suriname, Costa Rica, and one of the winners of the new preliminary round (winner of Match 8, to be exact, which will end the group of Guyana, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, and the Bahamas). Matchday 1 on July 12 will have Jamaica v. Suriname at 6:30pm EDT, and Costa Rica v. the Match 8 winner at 9pm. Matchday 2 on July 16 will feature Jamaica v. the Match 8 winner at 6:30pm EDT, and Costa Rica v. Suriname at 9pm EDT. To ensure group matches on Matchday 3 take place at the same time, per FIFA international tournament regulations, Suriname and the Match 8 winner will go to Houston on July 20. Meanwhile, Costa Rica will play Jamaica in Orlando at 7pm EDT, while the other two play in Houston. That will be followed by the Group D Matchday 3 contest of Honduras against guest team Qatar at 9pm EDT. The United States, meanwhile, will be playing in Group B, and all three of their Group Stage matches will take place in Kansas City. The quarterfinals will take place in Glendale and Arlington, and the Semifinals will take place in Houston and Austin, with the Final taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on August 1. Tickets go on sale next Thursday.
And they are hosting Toronto FC league games too? Montreal I thing went to Miami. Quite different from last year where they played in NYRB and Hart Even Vancouver "moved" from Portland to SLC Anyone know why all the moves or how the sites were picked to begin with?
Just wondering, does anyone have any idea when tickets for the Orlando vs San Jose Earthquakes game scheduled for June 22 will go on sale? Can't seem to buy them off the website as it says date and time are in the works still... guess that's normal? Might be in Florida during this time and would like to attend. Cheers!
They went on sale on Friday. They also unlocked all season tickets for the rest of the season, returning them to "pre-pandemic" locations.
Nice thanks - went for the cheapest seated option sec 128 as don't know if I'll even be in that part of the world at that time lol... but hopefully will be there. I find corner seating are the best for photography purposes. Is there a club shop in the stadium too? I'm assuming so... anyway should be fun, may also go to Miami vs Orlando a couple of days later....
You are on the opposite side of the Wall from me, I'm 122. There are shops all over the stadium, but the actual club shop is in the SE corner of the stadium, at Gate A. It'll be the opposite side of the concourse from your seats (you have the NE corner, by Gate C).
New name, same home 🏡 @inter_us | @InterCo_Stadium— Orlando City SC (@OrlandoCitySC) January 18, 2024 Orlando City has announced that their stadium has a new naming rights deal with digital commerce company Inter&Co.
