Stadium looks great for the most part. I question whether it will be ready in time. Wish more of the stadium wouldve been open during the open house, it would have made that main concourse less crowded.

No kidding.....as of today, they still haven't installed the windows on the south side of the stadium facing Church St. and there still isn't a sidewalk there either. it's bound to be a bit of a mess. Oh well, it will be finished enough - seats and a beautiful field. I'm sure there will be a lot of naysayers complaining about the unfinished nature of the stadium. I think fans will indeed need to be patient like Leitao said this week.
Sidewalk is supposed to be finished today. And all four gates will allegedly be open tonight. That would be progress. Will be interesting, however.
Great article and video on the stadium's opening in the Orlando Sentinel. Orlando City leaders confident stadium will be ready for opener Sunday http://www.orlandosentinel.com/spor...orlando-city-stadium-progress-0304-story.html
There are actually five gates. They do not have the Supporters' Section gate labeled on the map. And there's room for a sixth gate at the southwest corner. Which they probably need to add. There are doors, but only one metal detector.
Obviously big problem getting everyone into the stadium yesterday. I think the problem can easily be solved with more metal detectors and/or simply wanding. The whole process of putting your stuff into a little plastic box to be passed around the metal detector seemed slower than just wanding. And then there were two or three ticket takers for every one metal detector. A double wide door leading to each single metal detector. Not a good use of resources. But the funniest/saddest part is that we have this high tech metal detector and the guy wants you to put the stuff from your pockets into a plastic bin. And he only has two plastic bins. So people have to wait for one of the plastic bins to become free and get passed back to the other side of the metal detector. 100 more dollars worth of little plastic bins would have sped up the process considerabley.

Article in StadiumDB.com Orlando: No blanket permit for smoke. But still! http://stadiumdb.com/news/2017/04/orlando_no_blanket_permit_for_smoke_but_still
Hi, for those of y'all who have been there, do y'all mind answering a very particular question about the stadium? I'm going down for the USA-Panama match on Friday, and I have a seat in the northwest corner, section 121. We're getting updates saying that the Supporters Gate is only open for those who have tickets for sections 24-27. Considering that, am I best coming in Gate C, on the northeast, or Gate E in the southwest? I guess the question is really whether there is a hallway or something underneath the Supporters Section that I could cross from Gate C, or if I'll need to go all the way under the west side up to my section from Gate E. Thanks!
