That is going to be a sharp looking stadium. Too bad their average attendance is going to go down after moving into it.
Attendance being forced down by capacity limits means very little when the team can keep more of the revenue. They own the stadium lock, stock, and barrel. They get to keep all the gate from now on.
I agree. In a perfect world for us attendance nerds they would get the revenue and keep the same level of attendance or higher
Unless the team starts playing more attractive soccer, attendance wouldn't go up or stay the same anyway.

Yepper. Seats are going in now. Turf will be installed in February, final signage done by early February. I assume that means it will be ready to hold an event by February.

Much more importantly the get to keep the concession monies. 25,000+ spending the average $35 a game is over $14 million a year we have been giving the Citrus Bowl (they don't pay me to advertise the CWS so I don't).
Pulse tribute seats have been installed (minus the orange). 802621958626091008 is not a valid tweet id

73 days until the house that Phil built opens to play NYCSC. We have a winning record against them BUT we have tied the last two season openers. Need a win on this nice looking grass. ICYMI the supporters section will have single game tickets if you haven't purchased season tickets. Join the Ruckus now to be eligible.

Has anyone heard of what type of amenities (Bars, Restaurants, Concessions) will be available at the new stadium. Also a little off topic but has anyone heard any info on the Lion's Pride Pub & Grill that was supposed to be opening on Church Street?
Outside there will be a "Mane Street" area as before. It is a little unclear whether there will be food trucks or other food and drink there. Inside the stadium is ringed with concession stands. The intent is to include local restaurant food where logistically possible. The Supporters Section will have it's own concessions area. Being sold as a perk to the SS. But it sounded like the other end zone will have it's own area as well. I'm not sure if these are perks as much as the team ensuring they can easily sell as much food and drink to as many people as possible. Some of the higher priced seating will allow ordering from your seat, and someone will deliver. The Lion's Pride pub was supposed to open in the fall and the OC employees were talking about it. But I haven't seen any info on it actually opening.
The Pulse memorial seats were "officially" unveiled yesterday. They also added #OrlandoUnited placards to the seat backs. The official unveil. #OrlandoUnited https://t.co/YDAcmx9z5N— Orlando City SC (@OrlandoCitySC) January 4, 2017
