Personally i think Columbia had more than a couple of incredibly dirty individuel plays, which they got away with because its a friendly. And the fact they did them in a friendly well.. Leaves a very negative first impression many dutchies might have of Columbia.

Starting around 0:44 Falcao impressed with Dutch NT. Even with 10 men they kept attacking and play their own game. I agree. We did not care we played with 10 men, we still wanted to win.

Well, I get your point about the stereotype and apologise for that. But the Orange team werenot targeting players to kick them out of the match. I really hope the player that did that shit against van der Vaart meets someone that does that to him even worse.
It is interesting that someone mentioned Portugal in this thread. Portugal has been the most successful team against Holland that I can remember when it comes to knocking them off their game and winning. Maybe Pekermen knew this and told the players to hike up the physical play a bit but sadly it became out of control and barbaric at times. I don' think any of the fans are happy with the result and the chippy play at all.
