I saw a hoolie wannabe tossed out of 139 or 140 for throwing a hot dog or something at the bench side AR. The section did a good job of pointing him out and he was tossed in a minute or so.

thanks guys. Now I have to curse in Spanish instead of English.

Also, of course this all had to go down AFTER the Philly game. I guess US Soccer can play "the Philly" card when asked why are they just doing this now.

They air international games like ours... there's no difference in what language. They jsut think that cause american viewers don't understand what PU TA is they don't have to worry about that... not like they could get anything going on that front for them to stop, but i'm just saying... it still translates and the only reason why they don't care is because of the assumed language barrier.

they don't yell Put-a, they yell Put-o. no difference just the sex. Better than the people that think they yell Pluto! All this is stupid, why do it after the Philly game considering the game was half empty. just because it was in Philly? it has been used for years why do something now, they had the chance to stop it from going back years.

What are the US Soccer federation going to do to stop the Mexican fans? "Hey - if you don't stop yelling obsenities, the American fans will not be allowed to bring in flags"...

Do you realise how stupid of an argument that is?

It only matters when they start tossing people for YSA and not those saying Puuto

    Equal opportunity ejections please!

    That...

As well, why would there be stipulations coming from the tv networks that are complaining, when it only goes towards one set of fans who will be at the game.

The argument isn't stupid considering this is coming from the networks, and because of that, with ad money and everything else, it is then coming from the federation. The networks are only telling the US fans to control their bad language, why not others (which as i said, language barriers).

I can also make the argument that the US federation can lobby fifa into trying to clean up fan bases by pushing the same argument and having the effect go worldwide... but that just seems a bit socialist don't you think. Why have it equal ways for all parties involved.

If every game NBC or ABC or ESPN showed was USA/Mexico, you might have a point. Otherwise, since 99% of the games those networks show are USA/someone else or MLS matches, it makes sense to try and shut it down across the board, which is what they're obviously trying to do.

just put two poles (one on each side) and the banner is now a flag.

Just wanted to resurrect this thread to tell a short story from last night.

I was waiting for the main PPL gates to open last night when one of the CSC security staff began doing some chants. He was attempting to do "C'mon the U" but either didn't know it, or didn't have a rhythmic bone in his body. Anyway he begins loudly telling anyone who would listen about how the "rowdy bunch" used to have a chant where they said "F*** You!" over and over, but CSC didn't think it was appropriate and they and the FO forced the supporters to change it to "C'mon the U!"

So I guess the CSC staff get to pat themselves on the back and tell tall tales to make themselves look great, and put another mark on those horrible supporters.
