Oh yes, I agree. Wearily, though. What are those kinder-egg-toy looking things they're getting after the medals?
I suppose it must be. How odd. I won't ask why Mittag (? I think) is clutching a Laudehr jersey and occasionally using it as a nose wipe. Some quaint gentle hazing custom, no doubt.
Goodness, I doubt it -- probably not her countryfolk anyway. Where'd you hear that? Edit: there's wackos everywhere of course and plenty näthat to go around. Still, I'm surprised that any football follower would, unless it's disappointed bettors who didn't cover their point spread or some damn thing.
If the Swedish state can arrange a wedding between me and Olivia Schough Ill take the job offer in an instant
Point taken! Glad you two demanded receipts. Saw #5 with tears in eyes during the ceremony. The toughest among us have feelings too...
and now I know why... oh Swerige... Lotta Schelin said: Det blir speciellt att möta skit-Tyskland (It s gonna be special to meet shit-Germany) That is going to motivate #GER— Rainer Fussgänger (@thebox_sweden) August 16, 2016
#5 struck me late last night: the lack of post-game drama. No Kicki Bengtsson lying face down in the grass, stunned; no Hanna Marklund sitting hunched over, hugging her knees; no visibly sobbing Jane Törnqvist; no Karolina Westberg standing stoically in the goal mouth with thousand-meter stare. Those things go together with the monstrosity of the 'golden goal' of course. I'm really glad they got rid of that — both getting a chance rally to make a come-back, and also being forced to furiously defend a slim lead, are parts of the game I personally appreciate.
Glad you found something that serves! (It wasn't clear to me what you meant. "SF1"? Retrospective? By whom?) I have finally had a chance to watch the videos of the team landing at the airport and then a moment of interviews right before the party for them in Stockholm. Several amusing little moments, including Linda Sembrant's brother continually if unintentionally photobombing. The SVT reporter they sent is a real fan girl, I think, and was practically squealing over them at times. Olivia Schough is clearly now The Team Ham, and manages through enthusiasm to do improbable things like get Lotta Schelin to dance. Caroline Seger, asked to sum up the Olympics in three words, came up with pure svengelska: "Helt ********ing unbelievable." (It still startles me to hear the word so casually tossed about on news programs.) See it here, I think: http://www.svt.se/sport/fotboll/silverhjaltarna-hyllas-i-kungsan/ See the scrolling menu to the right for various clips. I recommend at leadt 'Seger: "Sjukt stolt, och ..." ' Bonus archive footage! Nilla Fischer as a teenager! http://www.svt.se/sport/fotboll/arkiv-nilla-fischer-16-ar-fotbollen-ar-nummer-ett/
I expected an usual bambie eyes, tragic music recap video. My bad! Can u baleave it? US get a victory tour when they win. Sweden gets a welcome concert with silver. Germany wins gold and gets "fly home earlier cause the season starts!!!" And, having the Schelin quote in mind, could it be swedish girls do swear a lot or just the footballers?
Don't think so -- the poster of the original has not to my knowledge come up with a source, or at least has not seen fit to share the source publically -- just the un-sourced (and, I suspect, un-sourceable) allegation.
And I've read every Olympics post and comment on Sembrant's page (which hasn't been censored). Nothing.
Hope Solo banned for a six months!? Ah, not _only_ for the whining, but for previous infractions as well. Hey, at elast she wasn't driving drunk, OK? I think it's a bit harsh.
Team USA is known for being bad losers. I remember when Germany beat them at the WC at home and they also said "the better team lost today". Chunts.
