This video of Rodrigo Caio back at SPFC and describing the win is pretty cool. You can tell how much it meant to the players.
Why is it that every time Brazil wins a tournament, people like you come out of the woodwork to say #1 weak competition #2 tournament didn't matter it is not a glorified tournament, it's a real tournament. The competition wasn't weak and they only got scored on once. U23 teams are what they are. It won't have the best players in the world because it is not a senior tournament. But to say that the U20 is taken more seriously? you must be joking... If I told you there's a tournament where this is the top 4 teams. Serbia, Brazil, Mali and Senegal.... you're telling me that Mali Serbia and Senegal at the U20 WC comprise of serious competition, meanwhile Mexico, Honduras, Germany, South Korea, Portugal, Argentina and all other teams in the Olympics don't? quarter finals for last U20... Brazil x Portugal Uzbekistan x Senegal USA x Serbia Mali x Germany this was so much better than Brazil x Colombia South Korea x Honduras Nigeria x Denmark Portugal x Germany? Cause you are so wrong.
I have to give Weverton a lot of credit for the win in the penslties. He "almost" caught several kicks before defending the 5th kick. Unlike the german goalkeeper, who kept jumping in the wrong direction...
