Last night I had a terrible dream that this thread stopped getting posts. Luckily I woke up to find that it continues to provide entertainment for me. Thanks to all.

Julie Foudy models the new uniforms the U.S. Women's National team will unveil for the Athens Olympics next year. Famed Chicago fashion designer T. Flannigan came up with the new look for the "Golden Girls."

Come on, monster, any true patriot knows that the flag is not supposed to be worn.

With "patriots" like this, it's easy to see why the flag doesn't get enough respect in this country.

Do you have a URL of where I can find more information on representing the U.S. "How Many Times My Uncle Hit Me" Team in Athens?

When did this become an Olympic sport?

Let me save Tom the trouble . . . .

I refuse to respond to persons who do not post in a civilized fashion. If the same cabal of moderators who follow me around devoted their attentions to getting this game on at a decent hour, all true soccer fans would be served.

And I still haven't figured out how to use the quote button.

The MetroStars don't care about soccer in this country. They are playing at noon today. Nine p.m. would be a better time slot.

Why didn't they move it back to 10am to get out of the heat?

Today's forecast for East Rutherford, NJ.

As always. The men have to play in obscurity at noon, while the WUSA semifinals are getting endless hype on PAX.

    Gee, I wish I'd said that. :)

This from Amado Guevara on the Metros' Heat Bath 0-0 draw with Kansas City Wednesday:

I'll bet they all play at 9pm. That's a great time for a game.
