I think the part of Wake Up from Arcade Fire (0:48-1:09) would be easy and catchy.

I think a lot of us already put scarves up at the end of the game. To have an accompanying song would be great.

I personally like what RBNY does in their supporters sections where everybody grabs onto eachother and shifts left to right. It looks good in my opinion. We should try this.

The 'huddle' as I've seen it called. While doing it usually in the waning minutes of a winning first and/or second half, they sing a parody of the classic song Wipeout (lyrics being 'Metro Boys ain't nothin' to fahk wit', which parodies 'Wu-Tang Clan ain't nothin' to fahk wit'). I've heard this at US Men's National team matches as well (USA ain't nothin' to fahk wit). Creative and effective, but ya know, that's their thing.

Huddles are seen in ManCity matches albeit with their backsides facing the field *shrugs*. I think Celtic peeps did this for the most recent Old Firm match. The Balkan and some eastern Mediterranean fan sections do a huddle also. It's cool when a full section is up to it.

I have been tossing around an idea for a knockoff of the NY Jets, "J-E-T-S JETS, JETS JETS" that the fans do at each kickoff. As Hesmer lines up for a goal kick get an "ohhhhh" going. Then as he kicks the ball "C-R-E-W! LETS GO CREW!"

Simple, clean, and basic enough the whole stadium could catch on.

It's simple. It's basic. It's something that would be somewhat unique. There's no cursing in it. It positively supports our team.

    Nope, it'll never work. :p

Pardon me if someone already suggested this. The search function yielded no results.

Anyway, I am biased as a Newcastle fan, but I think it would be very cool to do the following chant(s), merely replacing "Toon" with "Crew."

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ym5evYmHUM"]Pogo if you love the toon - YouTube[/ame]

Simple to say, and fun to do.

I figured "Pogo, if you love the Crew" would be more acceptable than "Shoes off, if you love the Crew". But that would be cool as well.

I suggested the "Pogo, if you love the Crew!" last year. I still love it!

I'm sure I'll start chanting it myself if I'm drunk enough. :D Also, there are plenty of hybrid Crew/NUFC fans who would be more than willing!

I was actually just about to suggest we do it. Pogo or just the simple If you love the crew stand up.

This isn't too related to much here but not worthy of a new thread.

Tradition is a reeaalllly important part of fan bases.

Ohio State has dotting the I, hang in sloopy, O-H-I-O
    Liverpool has YNWA
Man City, Celtic have turning backwards
    Wisconsin has jump around
    CBJ has canon after goals

What do we have? The closest thing I could think of is welcoming la turbina with Yo Si Le Voy.

Something like that please edit this. But I really like the idea of this song.
Instead of the da da da part we could have say Columbus.

    I really like this.

And we could easily replace "the Red Bulls" with "New England" or "Toronto."

    blahhhhhhhh.....

    • We have the oldest stadium in the league.
    • We have some of the most creative banner makers in the league (Thoma).
    • We have old chants we've done for 10+ years that aren't unique to our team just like all of your examples have been mimicked and copied by other teams around the world.

If good enough isn't good enough, make it better by doing something different.

Talk is cheap. (that goes out to the lot of you not just cbus3)

We can get new chants off the ground just need more people to put in work.
