Anderlecht was sold last week of december, new board will take over in march. Current board doesn't want to take much responsibility in winter transfers due to takeover, so most transfers will be loans. Don't know if this means Kenny has a good chance at staying there or not.
Its a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season. Anderlecht hasnt got the money to buy him right now.
Started in a friendly as Anderlecht traveled to Netherlands Utrecht - losing 4 - 3 - Kenny played the first half
Started in a friendly as Anderlecht traveled to Netherlands Heerenveen - where they played to a goalless draw - Kenny played 68 minutes Note Kik Pierie started for Heerenveen

Wow. Saief with an incredible cross from the left-sided touch line that ends in a header off of the post. Would've been a great goal.
10 minutes until half time. He's had 2 good chances to score, but that rustiness was evident when it came time to put them away. He's getting himself in spaces and combining in ways only intelligent players can, but it'll take a while before he's back to being fully effective.
Go figure, Saief likely the least known Yank in a Euro First Division, looks to have the chops while more touted lads flounder.
Highlights thread here. Such a good player who can be very important for the national team. 955139697847734273 is not a valid tweet id
Hopefully we have a coach, at the right time, that has the knowledge of the player pool and is aware of who is in form and who ain't. There quarters are, or should be ours always. I been drinking.
Because he wasnt playing much at Gent. They have no need for him as they play a 4-3-3. Saief is neither a fullback nor a winger so he wasnt needed anymore at Gent. Anderlecht plays 5-2-3 or a 3-4-3 with Saief as leftwingback or left midfielder.
I guess that makes sense. I scrolled back and saw your post from Jan 5th. They are in a round about way trading him to there in the summer but loaning him there now.
It happened to Loic Remy when QPR was relegated and he was loaned to Newcastle who were still in the Premier League
This is my problem with Saief. He's obviously got quality, and I love the way he hits a cross, but where does he fit in the U.S. national team if we don't play a 5-2-3 or a 3-4-3? I don't think he works as an attacking winger because he doesn't have the speed for it. If Tab Ramos wins out and the USMNT eventually runs a 4-3-3, Saief's best spot is probably left back. I'm fine with that, but I don't think he's the guy to slot in opposite Pulisic in a three-man front.
Our personnel going forward probably fits best in a back 5. If not, then yeah, Saief would be a better left back than just about anything we've ever produced as a country.
