I think it all depends on his fitness level coming into training. If he isn't fit, he doesn't care...buy him out. If he is fit, then give him a chance to earn his way in. But having a slug in training is not good for the team. You do what's best for the team, not for Yura.

The team is DLH's asset, not any singular contract.

just my opinion but I'd rather not have Yura on the team and have him "earn" more chances to squander. All the minutes he got at the end of last year were a waste.

why try and diminish his accomplishments before coming to RSL? 13,14,and 16 goal seasons before falling off due to injury is an extremely good rate in a very strong league. The only reason he fell off was due to injury (5 months at one point) and the reason epl interest disappeared and the only reason we could’ve dreamed to get a player with stats like that.

he had great accomplishments before returning. But it's not like those were right before returning. They were years before. The injury slump would make sense for a 6 month stretch, maybe even a year. But we're now coming up on 4 years since Yura was the threat he once was. At some point it's not a slump, it's reality.

And that's just stat driven analysis. Watching Yura play? He's not even close to the same player in terms of movement, commitment, energy, fight, etc. If a guy is in a slump of putting the ball in the back of the net he better be busting his ass in other aspects. Yura didn't/hasn't done that.

    What he said.

When Yura was here before, I remember how he would go straight towards defenders one-on-one. Although he got dispossessed more time than not, at least we knew what Yura was going to do and he kept defenders honest. Now, it seems that running is beneath him since he just sits at the top of the 6 yard box and waits for his teammates feed him the ball.

So, someone earlier, maybe Salt Lake Jake, listed 3 options....
    1.Buy Yura out
    2.Trade/sell Yura
    3. Keep him and hope he wakes up

Well, from the tea leaves I consulted, ONE of those either is what's going to happen, or already has happened and isn't being reported yet. Don't want my tea leaves to get into trouble for mentioning this.

We wouldn't want to get you in trouble, so if you had a favorite number between 1 & 3, what would that number be?

Honestly, I'm assuming it's #1. Was holding out hope that it would be a trade to LAFC, but if that was the case we'd likely have heard it. Rumors fly in tinsel town.

Yura will be with RSL this coming season. I just hope it’s a season that is productive for RSL and for Yura.

Do your tea leaves have a "best by" date? Just wondering when we can expect to have confirmation or not on this.

I don't care if this is real or not.
I just want to believe that a decision has been made.
I'm fine with however it shakes out.

Until he's scored on constantly because he's too slow to be a goalie.

The caps? He capitalized ONE. He's telling us that it's a buyout, which seemed to be the most likely option from the start IF DLH had the stomach to absorb the cash hit.
