I wonder if Freddy would still think he could "big time" the fans and make them wait like he did during the All-Star festival?
Remember that guy who claimed to have played video games with Adu and got kicked out of his apt for beating him?

Not sure if it is because of his Visa issues or because he is out of form from not playing in 2 months. I'm not an immigration lawyer, but since he'd be in the US to represent Jamaica in the Gold Cup, not to work for a domestic employer (the Union/MLS), it should be a different situation. If diplomatic arrangements can be made for athletes from places like North Korea, Iran, Cuba, etc. to travel to the US for other international sporting events (like the Olympics and World Championships in other sports), I'm sure something could have been worked out for this if Jamaica wanted him.
True. They ought to have arranged a short term loan for him to play somewhere in Jamaica, though, or at least a training arrangement.
I wonder how many in attendance will actually remember players like Toni Stahl or JT Noone? Homecoming at the U is happening on August 24 - you gonna be there? I don't think they want to remind anyone of his time with the Union. The only thing I remember about his Union career is trying to break Break Shea's leg in that friendly. Did he even get any minutes in a league game? And won't Oka Nikolov be busy with his coaching duties during before the game and during halftime? That highlight video reminded me...they should also have invited Joe Bendik for getting posterized flat-footed on two of the greatest free kick goals in team history.
LigaMX kicks off their Apertura this weekend. For anyone who gets their matches on TV, keep an eye out for when Monarcas plays. They are very excited about their new player ...
