A little something from Edu's official photographer: https://www.theplayerstribune.com/ethan-white-2016-mls-cup-photography/
Eduardo Coudet (9 games for the Union in 2010) was named manager of Tijuana in Liga MX recently. Don't remember much about him other than him being a little overweight and having a bad bleach/highlights hairstyle. https://soccertranslated.com/2017/05/26/eduardo-coudet-announced-as-tijuana-coach/
Pfeffer has retired. Of note, Zach Pfeffer tells me that he has hung up his cleats. He has moved home and is in business school at Temple.— Jonathan Tannenwald (@thegoalkeeper) June 11, 2017
It's interesting to see a kid who would probably be a decent USL/NASL player and possibly get back to MLS make the decision to retire. I respect this quite a bit too. He took his shot as a very very young kid and spent a few years trying to make it work. Maybe it just wasn't the work he saw himself doing and knowing he missed a lot of the experiences his friends enjoyed made it easy to walk away. It really would have been nice to see if his development path would have been different if Steel was in the picture sooner.
I think like many soccer players he comes from a background where being really good at sports is great, but it can't be your only plan. I think he smartly recognized that he maxed out his earning potential as a soccer player and is moving on while he's still young enough to have a long career in something else. And good for him - if he was smart with his money he ought to have a few hundred thousand in the bank to get him through school and buy that first house.
Adu should have done the same thing. At Least Adu managed through see most of the entire world through all the clubs he has had.

Apparently we were stocked with USL players in the past. Article talks about Hoppenot scoring for Reno and lists Chandler Hoffman among USL goal leaders. Hmmm...... https://www.socceramerica.com/article/73855/usl-rewind-real-monarchs-own-new-win-record.html
We'd have a good thing going on if we had joined USL, but we just had to fly close to the sun. Only #ProRelForUSA can right this ship and bring us to the promised land!
Jimmy McLaughlin/Austin Berry/Corben Bone will face off against Michael Lahoud in the next round of the USOC. Union alum are doing better than current players.
Agree. Can not believe McLaughlin was let go and replaced with what they had playing last night. So glad McLaughlin did well last night in front of 30+K and on ESPN.
