Serious question. Are there a better pair of young central mids in MLS? TT and Yuell. Tyler Adams and who? Acosta and who?
So they have to be "young"? For the pairs you listed, Acosta and Gruezo, Adams and Sean Davis? Others... NYC: Ring and Herrera? Hou: Cabezas and Alex? Clb: Artur and Trapp? LA: Joao Pedro and Lletget? Tor's Delgado and Sea's Roldan are with older partners... DC now has Harkes and Canouse...
Skillz. Tommy may have found a juggling partner (though TT is smoother than Vako). That one time @tomthom11 & @Vakoqazaishvili refused to drop the ball. 🔥 #ForwardAsOne pic.twitter.com/TGlkbkT9rN— Paul Dewhurst (@dewhurst_paul) September 8, 2017
Yeah Vako was making TT run a bit for his but they'd generally come right back to Vako, even the one TT hit kind of over his head.
If you watch the ball and not TT you can see that Vakos' balls all go to the same spot on the field. TT backs up after returning the ball to Vako.
That's because TT wants to get some distance going, and Vako is uncomfortable with it and is trying to pull in back him .
Well the one you posted is invalid anyway. I mean Gallant walks, and that's good, and he's holding the scissors sharp end down, which is good, but you don't grab it with your fist like you're going to stab someone. You put your fingers in the finger holders and let the scissors dangle harmlessly. That's what Tommy would do, 'cause he got skillz and he always does the right thing.
Well, Lima and TT are 22, so for them the future's so bright they have to wear shades. OTOH, Wondo is slightly older...
Congrats to Tommy Thompson, the 2017 Andrew Bedard Memorial Spirit of the Game Award winner as the Quakes' most community-oriented player.
