Ittihad have the advantage here in needing only a draw and they're experienced in taking down Hilal in finals matches (that Osama Muwallid goal was magical :p ) so they're favorites to win I'm afraid.

btw calderon has last chance to prove himself as ittihad lost 2 titles this year and he promised for at least 3.

Are you Hilali or Nasrawi? Who the hell cares about Elton when there's a big game on Sunday?? FYI Elton is in Riyadh and his contract has not been canceled.

Our finals record against them is pretty even, and if you count last season's league decider as a final (technically it wasn't and neither is Sunday's game for that matter), then Hilal have a slight edge. However, Itti are the clear favorites simply because they're at near full strength, with a stable coaching regime, and have better form and morale at the moment. They also had the chance to rest some key players on Tuesday. They're missing Moteb but they have even more dangerous players on reserve (e.g. Hazzazi and Sabyani).

Hilal on the other hand are with a brand new coach with ZERO experience in the region, are in much poorer form than 1 or 2 months ago, and are playing with 2 injured players (Zori and Nami), and two unfit players (Aziz and Marshadi), and our only striker worthy of the name is injured and won't play.

Even if Hilal were in better shape I would still call it at 60% for Itti simply because Itti have a more experienced squad with fewer liabilities like Nami and more options on the bench. But under the current circumstances it's more like 80% Itti.

Top 8 qualify for the post season? In a 12 team league?

    Wow, that's crap.

it's top 6 + CP cup & fed cup winners. But since the cup winners are in the top 6 you're in.

Losing 1-0 from Al Hilal is not a bad result. In fact it's an accomplishment.

And because it causes a great deal of congestion that hurts both the NT and the clubs that play in the ACL.

I actually hope Al-Hilal rests some of the international players for this competition, or at least the first couple of matches.

Al Ra'ed have a better home and away result too (they won the 2 games). but i think it's right to have a play-off match.

Who wins the Golden Boot? Both Buchroune and Al-Shamrani have 12 goals?

I believe Bouchroune wins if we take out penalties as Shamrani is the team's designated Penalty kicker.
