He is 28 yo, no major injuries in the past, so lets hope a change in atmosphere was the only thing that HE himself needed.

I'm sad that he is leaving Barca. I'm extremely happy that he chose Milan over Man City. Lets hope the Brazilian triangle give us plenty of highlights this coming year, and Ronaldinho takes back his player of the year award.

probably, but a ronaldinho of just 80% of his '05 peak is better than almost any player on the planet.

ronaldinho arrived at milan and the fans are in a state of delirium apparently...

I think he'll have no problem re-finding the joy of playing here in mini brazil.

I think he is actually gonna be rejuvenated.
With Kaka and Pato (Brazilian love for him to embrace in)
and also having the opportunity to play with so
    many proven legends, I'm specifically
referring to Maldini, Nesta, and Gattuso.
While he was at Barcelona, they won
2 La Liga titles and 1 CL...very impressive, but
the most interesting part of that is on those
sides they didn't have older legends so Ronaldinho
    had to carry the side.
Now he can share the light with so many others.

obviously, the answer is "we'll find out."

however, in my opinion, i don't think so. as mentioned, he's still young at 28 and hasn't had major injuries.

from my understanding (based on reports, the media, and forums like this), his problems were his lifestyle, motivation, and fitness.

so it's on him to change and make the best for him. from all indications, it seems he's willing to commit to the club and his career. whether or not that's smoke, we'll see...

with that said, he was pretty poor last season, but even the season before that, i thought he played well even while not being 100%.

Not only is this good for Milan, but it's great for Serie A, to have a name like this sign here.

On the downside, expect the wave of Ronaldinho fanboys . . .

To be honest I don't think he has a choice. It is the clubs decision as to who wears what number and I bet that Ronaldhino made it one of his main agendas during the negoiations to get the #10 shirt, especially considering that he has a fashion line called R10. Since it is the clubs decision Seedorf has no say about wheather or not he gets to keep the #10 shirt. I bet that Milan have already agreed to give it to Ronaldohino not only because he most likely asked for it but also for the sheer marketing and profit potential.

    perhaps.

obviously, this is one of those things that we won't really know unless you're a part of the club.

but i'm just saying that's what seedorf said.

but all clubs work differently. some clubs let the players decide. other times, it's the club or manager's choice.

    the fanboys... hopefully..

well milan doesnt usually work like that... once a jersey is given to a player, its usually up to the player to give it up or not... when ronaldo game, i am certain he wanted the number 9 jersey as well but inzaghi wasnt going to give it up so he has to take the 99 jersey... he too had some brand call the R9... it doesnt matter, milan is not going to cause internal strife over a jersey number, so the best option is that in order to not show favorites, once the jersey is assigned, it is up to the player to give it up...

^and to add on to that, both rivaldo and seedorf didn't have the #10 either while rui costa was there.

^^ yeah but thats rui costa... he was a king... he owned that jersey... (yeah i have been a rui costa fanboy in my time :p)

it would be like saviola walking into madrid and asking for the number 7 jersey... NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

That weight can be off in month!

I saw some really fat dudes in the ARMY
come into Basic Training and lose 20-50 lbs in 12 weeks.

Ok, kckal...you are my guy and I agree with
you most things, but comparing Saviola to Ronaldinho is INSANE!
Saviola is an overrated, cry baby, going to ask for the jersey of
#7 Raul = Hero to many throughout a Nation
and the Face of a Franchise.

I know Rui Costa was an outstanding player, but you may need
    a different comparison.
