Seriously, there were some people that actually considered this guy a presidential possibility. Now, I know that in the age of Trump, anything is possible, but I don't want anyone near the button whose decision matrix apparently thought that filling in for Francesa was a good idea less than a week after it thought that going to the closed-by-your-administration state beach was a good idea.
That's heinous. Don't forget the 23 cents/gallon gas tax Gov. Asshole passed last year. And the roads still blow around here.
You ain't kidding about the roads. A piece of metal is embedded in the center lane of Rte 17 North just north of the GSP. I hit that thing a couple of times this week. I must remember to stay in the right lane when I get on 17.
When I lived up there Route 17 or 46 was good for a popped tire about every 6 months. At least these days they look paved.

Chris Christie tried to use th special VIP line at the airport. But, he ain’t a VIP anymore. So he got the full TSA experience.
Considering the millions & billions spent by corporate interests in politics in much more opaque ways, this doesn't really bother me: PATERSON – An entertainer’s distribution of cash at mayoral contender Pedro Rodriguez's campaign headquarters during a rally for Fetty Wap’s endorsement is drawing fire from Rodriguez’s political rivals. The entertainer, Fatboy SSE, was one of several local celebrities— including Fetty Wap — who attended the event on Sunday night to show their support for the candidate. At one point, Fatboy SSE held a thick wad of money and was giving out $20 bills. “He’s a social media celebrity,” said Rodriguez. “It’s part of his act. It’s something he has done many times.” https://www.northjersey.com/story/n...istribution-paterson-candidates-hq/523912002/
In Mexico people get Grocery store cards if they go to evens of the PRI and promise to vote for that party. So this events like this are kind of normal in Latin America.

So both New York and London both have fairly extensive camera systems. I’m less concerned about this than having a system that is only accessible to the authorities. Really what’s visible to one should be visible to all. https://www.njtvonline.org/news/video/new-police-camera-system-newark-relies-community-viewers/ New police camera system in Newark relies on community viewers April 26, 2018, 5PM EST
Yeah its not the same without drag racing. A stop every year on the circuit and was aired on ESPN. Raceway Park hosted a big Dead show back in '77. I think one of my bros was there. If you know the area its a 2 lane road in & out of there and must've been a traffic nightmare. OLD BRIDGE - They came from all over East Coast and beyond, descending on the 300-acre Raceway Park drag strip on a hot late summer afternoon. They carried blankets and dragged coolers, and, with parking at a premium, many walked for miles. They came to see a concert by the Grateful Dead, but also to be part of a happening that attracted a crowd estimated at 100,000 to more than 150,000. A portion of the massive crowd at the Grateful Dead show at Raceway Park, 1977. https://www.app.com/story/entertain...-dead-fans-flocked-to-raceway-park/610173001/
