    2015 Edition

    Games played (Total 9):
Friendlies vs. Panama (Feb. 17), Guatemala (Mar. 2) & Nicaragua (Mar. 9)
    WCQ vs. Honduras (Mar. 25 & 29)
Friendlies vs. Peru (May 28) & Armenia (Jun. 1)
WCQ vs. Mexico (Sep. 2) & Canada (Sep. 6)

    Results:
    0 Wins
    2 Draws
    7 Losses

    Goalscorers:
    Nelson Bonilla - 3 goals
Jorge Moran, Pablo Punyed & Alex Larin - 1 goal

    Total goals scored: 6
    Total goals conceded: 20

Here's hoping next year is better than this one though looking ahead we have tough wcq ahead and fesfut is thinking of playing Mexico in the USA essentially giving up to pocket more money. Hopefully corrupt FA members being taken down makes them start to think twice.

    Teams can do this ?

I don't think they can becaue imo Mexico would have already played some WCQ games in Pasadena, Chicago, Dallas and Houston etc .

They can and have though it's usually the smaller FA's in Concacaf. Belize played Mexico in Houston for the 2010 wcq cycle instead of in Belize. Guyana played Mexico in Houston for the 2014 World Cup cycle now we may do the same this cycle

Last year was a very disappointing year for our NT's at every level, and not just the MNT. Our U17's, U20's, U23's, beach soccer and WNT all disappointed. It hurts to say that we're back to square one yet again since Roca left, several players from our "A-team" got suspended, and FESFUT has shown to be incompetent. Hopefully this year we can get our problems sorted out before the WCQ's begin.

El Salvador also ended the year as the most violent country in the Americas. How can there be progress?

They can not do take the game to the U. S., in the past some countries have done it ( Anguilla did it against El Salvador for the 2010 World Cup Qualifying). The reason why El Salvador can't do it and other countries can is because of infrastructure. Smaller countries like Anguilla or others mentioned previously do not have any stadiums suitable for international soccer, El Salvador has at least two: Estadio Cuscatlan and Magico Gonzalez, as well CONCACAF has previously allowed international games to be played in other stadiums like the Quiteño and el Calero Suarez for the CONCAchampions, thus I do not think that FIFA would allow the game to be transferred, unless something mayor happens in El Salvador (earthquake or the sort, which we all hope does not happen). So unless they (FIFA/CONCACAF) have changed this policy the game will be played in El Salvador.

Guyana had hosted several home games before they moved their home game against Mexico to the states. My memory may be off but I don't remember anything having happen to their stadium. The other reasons why I feel it's possible is the uncaf cup was moved with no obstacles at all and fesfut doesn't seem to think it will be an issue either

The UNCAF tournament is not an official FIFA tournament so it can be played anywhere the organizers please. I do not know about Guyana, but I know that FIFA usually checks the stadiums regularly before competitions...

I know Guyanas is cleared for international games and again this is all off memory but nothing happened to their stadium

Will we have a solution with ceren soon? he is in the country and hasn't been cleared. He should've been training already. Lack of both sides on this situation. Just hope we get these results against honduras wich will be key.

AA is suspended though. Prior to the suspension, he still got called up to the friendlies despite being a free agent.

I must have missed the memo then, because I wasn't aware of FESFUT uplifting the suspensions.

EDIT: just saw the list. Yup, I definitely missed the memo, and it is indeed strange that Purdy got called up and AA didn't.

Looking at tweets it sounds like they are doing it to help get his wind back a bit which the NT isn't the place for it.

Does anyone know why Larin isn't on the list?

I think Maradiaga is not going to use Purdy in any match. He probably wants to see in person what kind of player he is on the training field and get him some training so he can start somewhere working out and playing before he starts looking for a club.

I always liked Purdy but he needs to find a team the dude is already 30 years old and at this point MLS isn't a realistic option for him unless one of the shittier teams take a chance on him like Colorado/Chicago, he will either end up in the USL/NASL or go to a Salvadoran club.
