Park's officially in the 18 man squad for the match against West Brom. Bendtner's in line to start but he probably can't handle 90 mins so I'd expect him to get subbed off at some point. Park could get a chance but Chuba Akpom, an academy striker who made his (one minute) PL debut recently, could also go on. We'll see...

Wouldnt it be ridiculous to be named to a 25 man squad and not see some minutes on the pitch at some level during the season? Im assuming

Not when you have room to spare. It's not like wenger went on buying spree (in # of players bought)

I'm really glad to see his name included in the CC roster since he has nothing to lose.

Best case scenario: He gets his chance today and plays well enough to potentially become Arsenal's third choice striker (fourth after Podolski returns). This will at the very least keep him invovled during Cup tournaments while being a squaddie. If everything falls into place for him, perhaps he can garner enough interest so him and Arsenal can finally part ways without $ complications.

Worst cast scenario: Being where he's now (behind 6 other strikers).

most likely to stay bench today based on Arsenal Preview (& quotes from Wenger). Akpom & Olsson are ahead of PCY I think. and yes, nothing about PCY as usual from Wenger

Best case scenario is that he gets a loan until January to championship side.

Anxious few minutes before arsenal game lineup for league cup. So chuyoung on bench or out?

    I'll say bench.

For me, I'm surprised that wenger threw a bone to park at any capacity.

He couldve easily though 'Why not try out the academy youngster instead of park'

I thought he wont even be allowed to step foot in the club house let alone sit in to warm the bench

It's a new low. We are happy to see him on bench for a cup match.

With these low expectations its like we're whale watching. I'd be surprised if he gets any form of minutes.

same can be said for kbk. i saw some dude post up a couple gif animations of his touches that led to not even an assist let alone a goal. one he got fouled the other ended up as a back-pass. whoopdeedoo
