I think he plays RW as his main position. However, playing in the U20 league in Greece doesn't say much. We'll have to see. The best possible path he could go is to perform well and get scouted by Olympiakos. If not, he'll end up in Asia sooner or later.
AL WASL 2-2 SHABAB ALAHLI Korean playmaker Moon Chang-jin brought the visitors level (1-1) in the 67th minute after he exchanged a one-two with Makhete Diop inside Al Wasl's box and fired with his right on the half-volley from a tight angle to beat Sultan Al Manthari (WSC GK)

I didn't know there is a Korean player who plays in Brazil. Actually, he is a Korean born in Brazil, last year he played for Seoul E-Land and in 2017 he has scored 4 goals in Serie B, interesting.. edit : his name is Francisco Hyun Sol Kim (known as Chico)
Jung SR is 2017 J League Champion, Kim MH scores (while his partner in defense was awful) & Gu SY of Consodole had one amazing year.
Maybe. However, I bet that Cho HW will be our main GK at the WC anyway unless he fcks up in the EA Cup. I also doubt that STY rates Jung SR.
As far as debutant goes, I would like to see Kim Minhyeok (like I've said countless of time), and also Gu Sungyun. Gu seems like a young player and played as a starter so he should be considered as a future GK for us. Also Kim Dongjun because he's in a similar predicament. However, unlike Gu Sungyun he's playing in the second division. Wish he transferred out of Seongnam. Thankfully he's picked for EAFF. Another potential J-league debutant might be Song Juhun. Another young CB that played a lot for his team. But it seems like his team got relegated.
Well, Jung SR should probably rest his injured right leg instead of E-1 in any case. He’s been taking goal kicks with his left foot (or delegating to the CB) for the last few weeks, with surprisingly decent accuracy of distribution.
I have a question, which Korean players do you rate in the J-league? Also (not directed at you), do anyone know how Paik is doing?
I haven’t watched many teams across the league often enough to form an opinion on the Korean players, sorry. My sense is that there aren’t any real standouts - the league released a shortlist of 33 “outstanding” players from the 2017 season and there were zero Korean players on it. I would probably take a look at Gu SY, and I’m a bit surprised that Kim MH is still uncapped. Otherwise, keep tabs on the younger guys like Song JH and Jung SH, maybe take a look at the Kashiwa guys, and pick a veteran GK flavor of the month.
Jung SR left foot > all other GKs for Korea except Kim JH anyways, I prefer Kim JH skip E-1 if has to be any GK... we have a cup final left (i want the double this season!!)
