His release clause is €3M. Also, he's too old to play for Juvenil A, and won't be able to play for Barcelona B. They have to sell or loan him out whatever happens.

They're both missing the preseason for whatever team they end up at. TBH I see them going outside the top 5 leagues or second division. They looked mediocre against Jeonbuk in the friendly, if you look mediocre against a k league side at 19..

he played in attack I think... hard to tell due to short highlights but he wasn't onscreen when Olympiacos scored. They signed another kid at LB.

tbh I never thought that he should become a LB anyway. Was more of a forced positional change because otherwise they couldn't use him.

I am really looking forward to that move. I dont care if its "just" the Greek league. I almost had given up on him so I hope he can have success there.

On deeper thought, I think for a kid with little market exposure either at club or youth KNT level, he's done ok enough for himself. Maybe they can eek into EL or he can catch the eye of a scout watching for a player who is in CL/EL.

If it were LSW, or if JGH had been in u20 WC squad and done well, I'd stick to my original feeling of disappointment.

What I am disappointed by is going to a non latin script country. such a pain to transliterate.

should have joined J League if he wanted to raise his profile & catch the eyes of bigger EU league scouts.

maybe but not as bad as I was concerned about on deeper thought like Kiu down in third tier or second portuguese tier.

I have to say its super sketchy though that JGHs agency reps three new additions to the one club (JGH, Soumah, and Kumadey).

Whether he would even make it into the match day squad isn't clear. Given the state of the Greek leagues it isn't a good move for his career.

That being said, it could be that he had no better offers, from Asia,
