Actually, my opinion of him comes from his time at Brighton too. He was inconsistent, and was bailed out many times by the individual brilliance of Ulloa.
Well, if he thinks that one of the top strikers in the league is surplus to requirements, enough said.
Soriano is undisputed starter.... it is him + 1. if Hwang HC is keeping Oberlin (and 5-6 other FWs) in the bench, good for Hwang.
Obviously. He's the captain. Again, my point was about Garcia, and his decision to not use Oberlin, and in general lacking a coherent matchplan. I'm not sure what this has anything to do with that.
Well, Oberlin is new to the team & he has to win his spot. As for coherent matchplan, I don't watch Austrian League & I don't have a clue about Oberlin as a player... however, again.. been only 2 games so far. You are jumping to conclusion too early edit - RB Salzburg won 2 games out of 2 in the 2nd half. I think you can say Garcia is justified for not using Oberlin as starter so far...
fair enough based on your perspective of him during Brighton. your opinion & i have nothing to say on the matter (doesn't mean that he doesn't have good rep though.. especially in Spain it seems). just disagree w/ your perspective on Oberlin & using Oberlin as evidence for Garbia being "useless" this season w/ RB Salzburg.
Agree to disagree then. Highlights from the match: http://www.laola1.tv/watch/video/768892 @2:35 great ball from Minamino, picked up by a nice run from Hwang, but the shot is saved by the keeper. @3:52 nice through ball from Berisha to Hwang, who is then brought down in the box. Scores the penalty.

Nothing wrong with that. Minamino was the best player for Salzburg today anyway. Hwang did his job, and they have different roles in the team in any case.
http://sports.news.naver.com/wfootball/news/read.nhn?oid=431&aid=0000000416 Shim Geon-Hui, 19, signs for Getafe Juvenil A, and will join Getafe B at the end of the season, as he will be too old for the Juvenil A squad. The contract is until the summer of 2018. Previously represented KNT at U-13 and U-14 level, it seems like he was pushing for a move to Europe for quite a while. Back in 2015, he had an unsuccessful trial with Eintracht Frankfurt. Tbh, he would be better off joining a K-League club, it's unlikely that he would develop much in the Terecera Division, where Getafe B plays, given that most teams are amateur/semi-pro.
There are two other Korean players playing in the Tercera Division; Yun Jae-Yong, 22, Celtiga FC and Kim Dae-Yeon, 19, Manchego CF. Unfortunately, none of the three players would play against each other in the league as the Tercera Division is formed of 18 regional leagues, and all of them play in different ones.
Auf der #fcsp-Bank nehmen zunächst Platz: Himmelmann, Sobiech, Ziereis, Flum, Kalla, Choi, Thy— FC St. Pauli (@fcstpauli) February 27, 2017 Choi is back from injury and is on the bench against Karlsruher. Park is dropped from the matchday squad as Ziereis is back from injury too.
St. Pauli finally moves out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 victory against 1860 München. Choi Kyung-Rok an unused sub. With the arrival of Daehli and return (loan) of Thy over the winter, he's got a lot of competition now. As for Park Yi -Young, he's now back with St. Pauli II.
In Hungary, Suk Hyun-Jun is on the bench for Debrecen VSC while Ryu has been dropped from the matchday squad. In Denmark, Park Jung-Bin has had a groin injury and hasn't been featuring for Denmark after the winter break.
Can we get a master list of everyone who's playing overseas? Also, can positions be listed for the players? Thank you in advance
http://www.taegukwarriors.com/korean-players-abroad/#comment-7023 You're welcome. Btw, Han Kook Young's info needs to be updated. He plays for Al-Gharafa, not Qatar SC.
AFC Tubize finishes 5th in the Belgian Second Division. This means that they will play in the relegation play-offs, but they have an 8-point lead, so they should be safe. Would be interested to see if they sign more Korean footballers next season.
