I know they had our backs fighting who shall not be named. But they still suck and their city sucks and oh yeah ******** your social media person.
Tournament in Cincy today. They sell toilet paper at Dick's here. #SaveDTheCrew #HellIsReal #CrewBee pic.twitter.com/NpkC21euhC— ⚽🐝CrewBee ⭐⭐🌟🐝⚽ (@CrewBeeHappy) October 27, 2018
Been a Crew supporter since day 1. I have been living in Cincinnati-area since March 2017. Everyone asks when I'll pick up the FCC...ummmmmm...never. Just wish the fluke USOC win for FCC didn't happen like it did. I was wearing my Crew gear in a sea of orange & blue.
I've lived in Columbus for over 20 years now. I will never be a CBJ fan. Was born a Penquins fan and will always be a penguins fan. I do attend an occasional CBJ game and even had work season tickets early on that I used frequently - but only because I like the game. If CBJ are playing Capitals or Nashville or Detroit, I'll root for them but that's as far as my support goes.
I attended a Cincinnati area university. I had a decent 4 year run. I wouldn't want to spend any more time there now. Columbus' inferiority complex about Cincy and Cleveland seem to have ended 10 or so years back. I'm ok with that. I can't wait to crush them on the field.
I am from Indy so this is the first I am hearing of this supposed inferiority complex. No city ever should feel inferior to Cincinnati. And when I say no city I mean no city. I don't even mean just American or even western cities. Baghdad>Cincinnati.
I agree, no city should feel that way. Growing up here in Columbus, there was definitely a sense in the 80s and 90s that Cincy and Cleveland were big cities while Columbus was given a pat on the back and a "you've got the state capitol and fair, leave the international recognition to the big boys," kind of thought. Things like "Columbus (OH)" never happens to any other Ohio city save Springfield. Akron, Dayton, Toledo never get that. I think this city has awoken in the last decade. The new ownerhsip for The Crew couldn't have come at a better moment to push things forward in a positive manner.
Is it fair to hate the fact that we were on TV in Cincinnati and had a solid Crew fanbase down there and now there's like 30,000 soccer fans attending their games?
I have no experience of that. But if your Skycrap post was anti and not pro, I retract my statement. Actually, let's just say I suspend it, I'm sure you'll do something to earn terrible person status eventually.
