Dissapointing for Shanghai, but at least it wasn't a loss, which means they should still have some confidence going into the next match. Would anyone here hapen to have highlights from this weekends CSL matches?

I'm surprised, a lot of the papers were expecting that Huang Bowen would play a very predominant role in the BJ squad this year, we'll see in the weeks to come.

so Jelic opens his account early on (haha, X, what about that bet now?) for Xiamen and my prediction about Xian holds true. It's not surprising that Xian had such a large attendance, soccer fans there are some of the most passionate (probably just behind Dongbei fans and ahead of Shandong fans). Plus, it was the first game there in a long time and the opening of a new season. I'm disappointed to find out about Beijing's move and wonder what the reason for it is. While Gongti is way too large for the team, it is located not far from the city center in a huge population area and a 5 minute walk from the subway. I've never been to Fengtai Stadium and don't really think it is as accessible or in such a large population area as Gongti. Oh well, hoping for a good season for Guoan. Greenlion, are the games offered via radio website?

Hmm...seeing Guoan in Adidas is strange, as far back as I can remeber we always wore Nike. I wonder if there is any connection with the big Adidas deal for the Beijing Olympics, or, most likely the only obvious, outward result of the Madrid arrangement. Well, hope this arrangement will result in more Guoan stuff in stores.

It's also good to see new companies getting involved in Chinese soccer as Shenyang has moved from Kappa to Lotto (as far as I know, Lotto's first sponsored team in CSL). Also, Shanghai City United is wearing Puma, who I guess is getting back into the CSL (I think they made the kits for Bayi a few years ago).

Because Gongti is being repair, and Hongdeng will play their China League match in Xiannongtan, so we'll use Fengti, Actually Fengti was built for 1990 Asian Games and was the NT's Training fields in 2004 AC period~ But i'm still worry about the field and after all it's a bit far from the city, the Club had officially announced we'll use the National Stadium- Bird's nest, build for 2008 OG~ 100,000 capacity - from 2008 season, or maybe next season I think;)

I don't know~ but i'll try to find some for you

Hmm~ you are more professionally than me on shirts :D

Okay, my original feeling was that there was no way this would be a permanent move as Fengtai is pretty far and not the most accessible. I'm guessing Gongti may be undergoing some renovations for possible usage during the Olympics. The move to the Bird's Nest is not something I'm looking forward to. Gongti is bad enough, but a stadium of that size would be a nightmare for fans. It wouldn't surprise me if Guoan is allowed to use the stadium first just to make sure the stadium is safe for when a much larger crowd will come.

Greenlion, unfortunately I can't read Chinese so would you be able to tell me what I'm trying to look at on the first highlights link? Also it seems the Shenhua match is streaming only, no download :( Oh well, I think I can live with that. Cheers for the links :)
