wow...dubious call. A goal called for offside. It didn't look like offside to me.

It's home to Kilmarnock, whom are 5th in the SPL. Decision time on Du Wei is the next day, so I say Gordon Strachan might as well give him another chance. If he fails again, then he can come back and lead the Shenhua revolution.

yeah he was pretty bad. but some of the criticism he's already getting is harsh. the entire team was shambolic.

he was trying to cover for those morons telfer and mcmanus most of the time. on his debut. in a country where he doesn't speak the lamguage. he made a mistake and then went to pieces a little bit.

i think he needs to toughen up mentally. i hope we don't make a snap decision on him based on those 45 mins, as there were others far more guilty than him. lennon, the captain, was a disgrace.

and our next game is a gime league game against kilmarnock. in retrospect he should have debuted then, this was always going to be too high pressure.

A year ago he was looking to me like he was going to be a superstar. But after seeing his recent NT performance I'm not so sure any more. He lacks presence, and worse, he has this tendency to be out of position at crucial moments, a fatal flaw if you're going to be the main defender. At this point, I think the best he'll ever be is another Li Weifeng. China needs to look else where for another Fan Zhiyi.

I still think Zheng Zhi should've been the next chinese to transfer.
