Agreed but lets not kid ourselves, every big football club in Europe is shady to some degree. Benfica is just really bad at hiding it (Just like every other club that seems to win in our league)

Liga NOS is the fight fire with fire league.

What's been going on this off-season signals that the money we get is not going towards what it should and that something is definitely going on. What it is? We can only speculate.

Barcelona pass on Hector Bellerin and bid 30m for Nelson Semedo.

Too low, we better not take it. It's not worth ruining his season over and i just don't trust this club with money. Fullback is the strongest position in our squad, keeping that in tact is a must for this season. Selling either one means you don't want to win. Plain and simple.

    We're holding out for €50m

If they can get €50m I'd take it

Holding out ? He settled for 35 million IF he attains certain performance goals.
I dont like to see good talented young players go to these top teams and sit on the bench. I hope they dint burn him on the bench. Young players need to play.....

I don't agree with the fee at all, his true value is 50-60M straight up. LFV selling him like this is just a classic example of him being desperate for money that doesn't go towards anything that's essential. In regards to playing time, he has a good shot. Barca are really thin at right back. They have been having issues at the position since Dani Alves left. Barca don't have as much depth at right back as they do the position Andre Gomes plays at.

I can't say i'll be upset when Benfica lose this year. LFV is getting too cocky by doing this year after year and expecting to win.

His value is what someone will pay for him.

It's his spot to lose at Barca. I wish him all the best. Força Nelsinho!

Mitroglou to Marseille for €20M for 1/2 rights is being reported now.

He was bought for €7M just one season ago. Astonishing by Benfica, again.

I can see Gabigol doing just as well as Mitroglou in this league if not better. We went from Mitrogolo's to Gabigolo's. Good insurance policy for this year. I wish our moves were done earlier but im pretty impressed.
