And in fact Sara Ito now scores 4-0. How will it end? Anyone wants to predict? Remember that goal difference could be key to win the group, so Japanase girls are not likely to take their feet off the pedal.

 

Or is this South Africa much weaker that they had looked vs Mexico?

Most of their players looked quite clumpsy. Their long-braided white DF #8 (I guess her name is Jessica Wade) looked like a disaster on legs, for instance. And it's not like their GK looked any good (a staff member, maybe a GK coach, had to sooth her at half time).

By the way, speaking about Wade, I guess the PK was legitimate: stupid and useless foul, but reasonable call to me.

 

Meanwhile, I was writing the same. Great minds think alike.

Or, more probably, her performance looked so obvioulsy atrocious that no-one could avoid noticing it!

 

Osawa won't score an hat trick: Ishida replaced her at half time.
