Let's see how strong this new team is But i guess we won't be able to watch these matches? In fact, I had to check who she is She is the Canadian goalkeeper of Nojima Stella.
I remembered very well about her, instead, and now I do wonder: who will be Nojima's GK for the rest of the season? By the way, did we know anything about Yamane's next destination? I don't think she plans to retire. The timing of her departure from Chiba could suggest an European league (since most of them have a season spanning between two solar years and use to start training during the summer).
Pao, in fact Tajiri is the only GK now. So maybe one of U15 members will be on the bench?, Or Yamane?
Yamane can't retire now ahead of the Women's Asian Cup next year But i am curious what's going on in that head of hers. It's very interesting btw having first hand experience of how players behave when things don't go their way.
That's a pity But they are still at the beginning and playing against international opponents will help them to raise their level.
Sorry guys, a little off topic. I don't know why but this picture reminds me of Kumagai. The article is pretty funny too. This Woman Spent A Day Wearing A Fake Beard And Is A Hero To Us All
I appreciate very much that now INAC-TV shows opponent's goals also! Maybe we weren't the only ones complaining for that? the scene with the players (especially Miki Ito) awkwardly reading the backs of their panels (I guess they were supposed to pretending not to read) was so funny! Who the player with the blanket up to her eyes was?

Oh, that's a shame! We have to compete vs big opposition without our captain and arguably one of our best players at all. What OL has so important to do at this time of the year??? Come on, is physical preparation for next season so important that she can't miss any days? Playing an high level tournament with Japan coulnd't have been as much effective in terms of preparation? Lot of new names . Yamane can sign for Real Betis in Spain as much as she wants, but it looks like Takakura doesn't see her as much reliable anymore! But, where Ayaka Saito exactly come for? Is she even a Division 1 GK? I remember Vegalta had maybe a Saito in goal some time ago, but these days they use to play Cameron, don't they? Nagano is over-represented with new faces, it seems. Am I right that this is the first call both for DF Riho Sakamoto (I don't think she was called in the past when she was playing for Urawa) and FW Shiho Tomari? It would be funny to see Nagano's attacking duo of Yokoyama and Tomari recomposed on the pitch, now that they parted ways because of Kumi's departure. Also impressed by the call for Madoka Haji! I had seen, in latest Iga's highlights, how technical she was and how all of the team was looking at her as much as at captain Ami Sugita, but I didn't imagine she would have been called in NT. And over Sugita herself, to boot! Maybe Takakura saw some Iga's matches and said to herself: "Actually, Iga's player I should call is a different one...". Looks like Ohya passed the test, while Ueno didn't. Very happy to see both Kitagawa come back from her long injury (I remember seeing her on crutches after the Iceland match in Algarve, I was there! It passed some time -_-") and Utsugi from her short one (she played the whole game last week-end with Seattle Reign and she seemed totally ok right now). Curious to see how Sugasawa will fare: it looks like she's getting back to her old level of form, lately, in Urawa. Any big names missing, from the ones we've seen in Senior NT in the latest months? It's obvious that Ariyoshi still needs some time to recover (any news, by the way?). Also obvious that there's not much need of Sasaki, now that Kitagawa is back. Anyone else that you do remember, guys?
Those eyes were telling me something, but it wasn't until i heard the "Happy Birthday" tune that I had a real suspect... Does Asuna mention what is she doing on that vibrating couch with a blanket covering her?
Yamane has been chosen as a JFA designated player for strengthening abroad following Yokoyama, so she should be of course in Takakura's plan. Saito has played for these Cup matches, and Takakura seems to have appreciated her performance.
I've just finished watching the whole match. Thank you for the link! So is this the qualification for the U17 World Cup? I think Little Nadeshiko were lucky to get a point. China should have won this - they had chances to kill the game off. I thought Little Nadeshiko were very disorganised. They couldn't keep the ball and two central midfielders didn't look controlling the game at all. Most of the chances came from China's mistakes and winning the ball high up. I don't think any time of the match, they actually created chances from building the attack from backline through midfield. They did have possession in opponents' half after 2-0 down but I thought mostly it's due to the fact China tried to protect their lead. It's only the first match I saw but it's a bit worrying.
No, it is held in September in Thailand. The last two little Nadeshiko had lots of talents, so this team may look inferior in a sense, though of course it's just because we don't know them well.
Our GK from 1st half, the one with ponytail, seemed quite pretty. Neither her nor the one from 2nd half looked very effective to me, though: I guess GK, in general, keeps being a quite "weak" position in Nadeshiko football, with just a few exceptions. The impression is we don't have a proper "school" for women GKs. First goal from Momoko Tanaka was somehow Yokoyama-like: fast, powerful and well-placed. here does she play?
Yes, it was Tomoko Tanaka. I got confused with Momoko Tanaka, our GK for latest U-17 WWC! You have to say that it gets difficult, though, when they name differ for just a single letter... -_-"
