Disappointed by yesterday's result, should have gotten 3 points there but Vieira I felt made-up some poor subs that lead us to lose shape and give up possession (Mikey was disastrous as RB and he needed to make another sub to cover for it and I really hate how we go 5 defenders late in games we're winning as that's not what we do and more times than not its cost us this season) .
Pretty sloppy performance from almost everyone. Still quite a few games left, but I was hoping by this point in the season to start seeing some sharpness from our play. We definitely aren't playing bad, but it's nothing great either. We have looked about the same since March.
A Seba stunner! 1-0. #TORvNYC https://t.co/8aXW8wZ4Y8— Major League Soccer (@MLS) July 30, 2017 Under siege in Canada
Bad first half . Pirlo too slow to react . Giovinco 👀 pic.twitter.com/qNHiMn9ini— SI Soccer (@si_soccer) July 30, 2017
Honestly when I saw the lineup I had a feeling this type of game would happen. Pirlo is a liability against teams like TFC and it showed, We need to sign a DM who can push Herrera and a wingback for either side. Lewis also needs to start next week and Tommy Mac can come off the bench for either Maxi or a winger. I hope Vieira can bring in some players soon as the window closes in about 2 weeks.
I love Pirlo, but this needs to be his last year in MLS. He should go back to Brescia and help them get promoted.
Wow what a great goal by our rookie against LA! 1-0, hopefully we'll win this even though up to the goal we were being dominated.
Good win, and great performance from Johnson. Was a bit worried about this one as the Galaxy were due for a win, and new managers tend to bring a honeymoon period. Thankfully Sigi doesn't seem to be having one.
Job well done boys!! Jonathan Lewis scores his 1st MLS goal tells me "I beat three defenders, looked up, didn't know what to do so I just kicked the ball." #MLS pic.twitter.com/RDdyq5UCVx— Julie Stewart-Binks (@JSB_TV) August 13, 2017

David is missed sorely here tonight , the score could have been 2-0 NYCFC. The thing is that the City needs another striker like Villa , Harrison & the little guy are lightweights .@Jon_lewis710 with the good feet along the touchline to create something going forward.
