We're still at the beginning, but strange championship this year: Blaublitz first with one game to play, favourites are actually struggling.
Blaublitz Akita could not fulfill the requirements for a J2 license (their stadium capacity is just 5k), so they are not getting promoted this year. Still top of the league and unbeaten, though. http://web.gekisaka.jp/news/detail/?220015-220015-fl
Since a JFL thread doesn't exist, just a question: do you know the deadline for JFA to accept J3-status for some clubs? Vanraure might have a chance of J3 next year.
After a through 2 minute investigation I found an answer https://web.gekisaka.jp/news/detail/?226664-226664-fl Here's the schedule for the next season's licences: - J1 and J2 license for clubs playing in J1, J2 and J3 in 2017 it will be announced on September 26th - J3 license for clubs in JFL in 2017 season the decision will be announced on September 28th - J3 license for clubs in J3 in 2017 decision will be announced on 24th October.
If the situation above holds the bottom two in JFL will get relegated. Regional Champions League 2017 Group A (at Utsunomiya, Tochigi SC): Matsue City, Vonds Ichihara, Saurcos Fukui, Suzuka Unlimited Group B (at Sumoto): Mitsubishi Mizushima, Tiamo Hirakata, Amitie Kyoto, Kochi United Group C (at Kagoshima): Cobaltore Onagawa, FC Kariya, Tegevajaro Miyazaki, Tokachi FC Final group will be at Ichihara. Hirakata (Kansai runner-up to Amitie) and Matsue (Chugoku runner-up to Mitsubishi) got in by being Shakaijin Cup semifinalists along with Suzuka and Ichihara. Kariya, runner-up to Suzuka in the Tokai League, was chosen as well.
