Nagoya just won an 11-goals thriller against Ehime. They were 4-0 up, then Ehime equalised with 3 goals in less than 10 minutes, then Nagoya scored 3 to make it 7-4. Former NT player Taguchi scored a hat trick. Looking forward to see the highlights.
The great broadcaster named DAZN Japan decided to geo block these videos. Most of the official youtube channels of J League have this. It seems they want only people living in Japan to view the J-League.
Must be his worst game ever in J.League. Never really liked him though, he's a dirty player and his body language is horrible, especially when things are not going well. And I guess it doesn't help that he sometimes acts like he is God's gift to mankind either He's a decent player though by J2 standards, but doesn't really cut it in J1, which 8 goals in 45 J1-matches underlines.
Yeah, something about him screams that he's the type who tries to be above the club badge. Got humbled though.
It's going to be a matter of time before one of these kids get Cantona'd. Players are, you know, human, and there's only so much one can suppress inside. People will act all badass in their anger for results until it's time to square up to these players.
Smallest in which terms? Anyway, it is nice to have a newcomer to J1, it seems Toshiya Takagi did a great job with Nagasaki in the last 5 season. Let's see how they will fare in J1, although most people will see them as the top relegation candidate.
JEF United Chiba is impressive. They are managed by an argentinian coach, while two of the other impressive teams at J2, Tokushima and Tokyo Verdy are managed by spanish coachs. I hope all of them reach the J1 soon, it's important for the J1 to have managers from different backgrounds, this will increase the level of the competition.
An early goal by Koji Yamase saw Avispa gave Avispa Fukuoka a 1-0 win against Tokyo Verdy, and booked their place in the J2 promotion final play-off. They will face either Nagoya or JEF who will play later today.
Nagoya back to J1 after just one season in J2, as they drew 0-0 with Avispa Fukuoka in the J2 play-offs final.
Curious to know what will happen to Narazaki, Sato and Tamada. Narazaki has been benched since the middle of the season in favour of both Takeda and Shibuya. I wonder if he will retire or move to another club.
Jesus, they got past JEF with the help of ref and they needed ref to cancell a goal from Avispa (both games at home) and now they take pictures like this... I hope they will be back to J2 soon where their ego should heal for a few years...
Taguchi is a badass, I hope to see him and Makino playing in the same team. I think he is the only player from Nagoya (and even from the whole J2) who is an NT material, but injuries played a big part in halting his progres.
Avispa very unlucky, Yamase smashing the underside of the bar and Wellington's header appeared onside on replay. I wanted to see Tomiyasu in J1 again, his contest with Simovic was an interesting battle. Nice to see Taguchi playing in J1 where he belongs, massive class above J2.
