Cerezo Osaka should try buying back Ogihara since he is playing in J2 now. Maybe he can help them in the league.

Higashiguchi injured after that saved PK from Okubo. He will miss some weeks including the NT game.

That means we will probably see Fujigaya from start next match! Who would have thought we'd ever see him in J1 again...

Kashima looked a bit defensively shake today and I thought that they have the best defence among the Japanese teams in the ACL. They need to cut down on the individual mistakes if they want to go far in the ACL.

Yeah, maybe it was a soft penalty, but Urawa deserved at least the draw. Kobe the only team with 12 points.

Looked soft at first, but in one of the replays you could clearly see it was a handball there, so don't see any problems with that.

If Gamba had won it would have been a robbery, Urawa were all over them for most of the match imho.

Gamba seems to be prioritizing the league over the ACL this year just like last year, unlike Urawa.

Jubilo won the first Shizuoka derby in 4 years. 40k of spectators watched that crazy Chong's overhead goal comforting Shimizu supporters in the additional time. But it wasn't great game for Shimizu. For entire second half Jubilo let the attack all the time as they were 3 goals ahead and they couldn't score...

Anyone had seen what Hayashi did today against Kashiwa?

LoL blunder by Nishikawa to gift Kobe a goal. Kashiwagi score to make it 3-1 to Urawa. He should be given a chance to play in the JNT by Halilhodzic given his current form.

Indeed, 2 goals and an assist today for him. Especially the first goal was impressive with 4 Vissel defenders trying to stop him and he dribbled past them. But his grandma was watching from the stands and he is from Kobe so it must have been a good day for him :)

He wasn't in his best form lately because of injury but it seems like this NT break made him regain his form.

The JNT is lacking in CM options, he should be given a chance. Hopefully Shibasaki can improve over the next year to provide an option for Halilhodzic. I like Ideguchi but he he might too lightweight to be used as the physically stronger teams.

He was given a chance ... You're gonna do that with every single player ?

Well, he is one of the best CM in the league currently, hence I think he should be given a chance, who else can be tried? The JNT's current biggest weakness is the CM/DM position, its pressing to find someone who can fill the role in Hasebe's absence, given that there might be a chance that Hasebe might not play next year due to his age/physical condition.

Not really. He's been one of the best players in the league for 7-8 years now, and is a key figure in arguably the most talented squad in the league. And over those 5 years he's only played 5 NT-matches. And it's not like he made a fool out of himself. Players like him and also Inui (although 2 different type of players) might not be overall as good as Honda,Kagawa etc, but they got an x-factor that could be useful especially late in matches when they are chasing a goal. That Inui haven't been used more in the NT is a crime.

but yeah, Kashiwagi as well deserves more for sure, but the competition for particularly the AM-roles are very tough, and I guess he's unlucky to be in the same generation as Kagawa,Honda, Kiyotake etc.

Kashiwagi can be tried as a CM, the JNT is lacking in this department with Hasebe's recent condition and Endo being out. Honda should move to CM too, the AM department is too stacked and he has gotten slower as well, CM might suit him more than AM with his physical build.

In the new 4-2-1-3 of Hali he could have some chance over Kiyotake or Kagawa. We'll see.
