Holy crap Kawasaki choked hard. Can't believe that Kawasaki gave up a 3 goals lead. Kawasaki shouldn't have played so defensively after Kurumaya was sent off. Don't understand why Oniki took Nakamura off. They lost control after that. Urawa was going to score a few goals given the chances they have in the 2nd half.
Was the best choice to take off Nakamura. Was the right call. Kobayashi, Abe and Ienaga were the other options, but Kengo it's the older. What was your choice in this situation?
The way Urawa shield the ball against the more physically stronger SIPG is nice to watch and also how they pump in accurate crosses to the middle. Japan youth teams can learn from it instead of keep on passing to the middle and getting their shots blocked. Anyway, their opponent in the final from what I see will be tough, hopefully they can win.
First Japanese ACL finalist since Gamba Osaka won the title in 2008. The past 8 years witnessed 4 wins by S. Korean teams (each time by a different team), 2 wins by a Chinese team (both times Guangzhou Evergrande won it), one by an Australian team and one a Qatari team.
Great! Already set my eyes on tickets for the final on the 25th of November. Was gonan go yesterdya as well, but something else came up. Seems to have been a great crowd!
Lol to the referee. I'm watching only the second half and there were 2 yellows and a red card (the guy who kicked Nagasawa) for Al Hilal till now. Nice job AFC.
Stoked for the match tomorrow. Managed to get some tickets in the end, but had to pay overprice. Funny how basically all ACL matches have had crowds closer to 15 000 than 50 000, but suddenly now that they are in the final it's all sold out week(s) in advance! Bandwagon fans they are.
That's a good thing. A continental final should attract fans outside of diehard Reds supporters. Now if they would only show it on terrestrial TV...
