Referees are atrocious recently. There weren't aa single week where they had distorted the final outcome of the games. This week they screwed Niigata big way with two red cards for nothing...

To get it all done before CWC? The first Championship game should be played in Sunday if I remember well (but it won't due to situation in the table). And 3rd November is a national holiday in Japan (Bunka no Hi).

After Nagoya's relegation, Kashima Antlers and Yokohama Marinos are the only J-League founding members not to be relegated.

I don't understand the point of going in your rivals.
Plus FC Tokyo has done well in 2nd stage, but there's a lot to do.

    Kazama set to Nagoya.
The olympic team actually forms itself after the U20 world cup I realized. I wonder why he left Frontale exactly then. Bailing out at peak point?

Not only him but Okubo and it looks like Kobayashi will leave after Mikitani's personal involvement in the negotiations between Yu and Vissel. Kengo will be there at least next year.

MASSIVE. Only two years, though, right? From 2018 he'll have to deal with U-23 for Tokyo 2020.

Bold move by Kazama or just stupid? In the starting lineup vs Kashima he has chosen rookies Hasegawa (2/1) and Itakura (2/0), with Itakura having only played 21 minutes of J1-football in his entire life.

They got a lot of injury problems, but he's left rather experienced and decent players like Moriya and Morimoto on the bench, and they could easily have filled Hasegawa's and Itakura's roles.
