I think it is time to open this thread as the J-League regular season is already ended, and some teams already began to prepare for the 2016 season. So Let's start with today's breaking news: Relegated Shizuoka Giant, Shimizu S-Pulse hired Shinji Kobayashi as their new head coach. http://www.s-pulse.co.jp/news/detail/31599/ Kobayashi is an experienced coach who led 3 different J2 clubs to J1 in the last 15 years (Oita Trinita, Montedio Yamagata and Tokushima Vortis), He is good at getting the best out of his team even with little talent and money, so here is a hope he'll do wonders with Shimizu. Kobayashi is also a brave coach who had a brave opinion on Japanese football during the second period Okada was coaching Japan (2010 WC cycle), when he was once asked by Journalists: "What has Japan to do to become a power like Brazil, Argentina and etc"? He said: "Japan must stop their quest to imitate and replicate others, they have to play football on their own way, then they will become a power".
In another news Nagoya Grampus appointed their former striker Takafumi Ogura (42) as their new boss and general manager. http://nagoya-grampus.jp/information/pressrelease/2015/1124gm2016gm.php They also released 7 players: GK Koji Nishimura. DF Nikki Havenaar DF Kazuki Sato. MF Leandro Dominguez. MF Teruki Tanaka. MF Danilson Cordoba. FW Milovoje Novakovic
Akihiro Sato (the goalie), Motoyama and Davi all were released by Antlers. Kashima wants Tosu keeper Hayashi.
Leandro, Danilson and Novakovic all gone. Interesting. Leandro has been pretty much injured his entire spell at Nagoya, so its sad to see him not get another chance next season. Danilson haven't really developed much in the last few years, and could be nice with some new blood in their midfield. Novakovic was way too old when they signed him anyway, so that's not much of a loss I think.
He only started 4 games since his return to injury, and personally I think it is way too soon to throw him overboard. With a full pre-season under his belt he could have been a hit again next season, cause he should still have 2-3 good years left in him. But I agree that they need new strikers anyway. Akasaki made some decent development this season, but he's not a player I would rely on for shooting Kashima to any glory, atleast not yet. Using Kanazaki as a FW is not optimal either, but still, there were only 3-4 teams in the league that scored more goals than Kashima this season so it can't be that bad. Would be awesome to see Davi back where things started at Consadole, as with him they would be a real contender for direct promotion next season.
Davi is wanted by Ardija. Sapporo is set to make a big mistake, they want to release Nazarit. Antlers still have a Dinei as centre-forward. Let's see when he will recover after injury. If this is true. He should be back soon to the training. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dinei/profil/spieler/55453
I forgot Suzuki Yuma. I like him. Can have a nice future. A lot of decent players released by your team, basse. The first two and the last two. OFFICIAL | Consadole Sapporo released Shunsuke Maeda, Hiroyuki Furuta, Takuro Kikuoka, Jun Sonoda, Nildo, and Cristian Nazarito. #jtransfer— yosuke (@maimaidenden) November 27, 2015
I'll mostly miss Furuta, but he's not really lived up to his potential I think, and perhaps he need a new environment to get his career back on track. Maeda and Kikuoka were creative players, but not really any big losses I think as we had better players than both of them anyway. Nazarit had an amazing start to his Consadole-career, but something happened and he was left out of hte squad completely for several months. As far as I remember he was not injured, so might have been some off-the-pitch stuff? A great player at his best, but we still got Uchimura and Tokura, and will probably sign a new foreign FW too. Sonoda and Nildo will not be missed at all.
2014 World Cup player Inoha released by Jubilo. Seems he will follow the Iwamasa's way. Is wanted in Thailand. One season there and back in home land.
By the way, nobody mentioned that Usami is very close to Stuttgart move when we can trust the media ? http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/2015-16/1/tm-news--11017-8760-.html Edit: Today I read, that Hannover want to check in the race, would be ways better then Stuttgart cause Hannover has a bad season this year yes, but they never get down to second league and they defitineley are willing to change this situation. They have not less money and have ambitious. http://www.fussballinfo.net/2015/12...shi-usami-und-andraz-sporar-als-alternativen/
And some more info on the coaches. It seems like Tatsuma (or 'daruma' like some like to read his name) Yoshida will be the coach of Albirex next season. Reported by Nikkan and Niigata Nippo http://www.nikkansports.com/soccer/news/1573422.html http://www.niigata-nippo.co.jp/albirex/soccer/20151201220650.html It was reported earlier that he had two offers - one from Niigata and other from Shonan. But coach Cho will remain on his post for the next season. There were lots of rumours about which team he'll chose for the next season with most probable being Kyoto Sanaga (rumoured to pay twice the salary he got in Shonan) and others were Niigata, Cerezo and FC Tokyo http://www.bellmare.co.jp/136302 In FC Tokyo there are rumours that the next couach could be Jofuku (again) http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20151201-00000013-jij-spo Milos Russ is back to Yokohama FC after he resigned in September (due to bad results and his health issues) http://www.yokohamafc.com/2015/12/01/2016シーズン監督にミロシュ-ルス氏就任のお知らせ/ And Kyodo News reported that Magath could be Sagan's next coach... http://www.47news.jp/FN/201512/FN2015120101002188.html Not much on the players lately. No big moves so far (but it should start soon). The only bigger move would be Komai from Sanga coming to Reds which should be announced soon.
and to note that the excellent South Korean coach of Bellmare will stay with them. They announced that today. He was linked with a lot of clubs including Cerezo, Sanga or Albirex.
http://www.nikkansports.com/m/soccer/news/1573895_m.html Omiya interested into Thespa's Esaka, one of the most interesting players this season.
Felix Magath: der Deutsche Yoon Jung-Hwan Usami <-> Stuttgart is kinda old news now. Japanese media interviewed Guido Buchwald at a Gamba match and he made no effort to hide that VfB is trying to sign him.
