2-stage season unfortunally comes back. Gamba Osaka (defending champions) Urawa Red Diamonds Kashima Antlers Kashiwa Reysol Sagan Tosu Kawasaki Frontale Yokohama F. Marinos FC Tokyo Nagoya Grampus Sanfrecce Hiroshima Vissel Kobe Albirex Niigata Ventforet Kofu Vegalta Sendai Shimizu S-Pulse -------------------------- Shonan Bellmare Matsumoto Yamaga Montedio Yamagata
J.League Division 1 and Division 2 will be renamed J1 League & J2 League like J3 due to sponsor agreement.
Do you think the new format will flop? I found some info on this: http://www.oneworldsports.com/stories/truth-behind-jleagues-two-stage-season/
I feel these discussions are worthless personally. All it matters is will the audience numbers improve or not. If they do, then they made the right thing. If it backfires, they deserve to be laughed at. Nothing else, really. It can be discussed if from a sport perspective, a format is better than the other and I personally think that there are tons of reason as to why a single format is simply more fair.
Doan Ritsu scored against Ulsan today (in a match that included a brawl, a classic against Korean teams). 16 years old, already getting time ... My "next Nagatomo" prediction looks good.

If it were in 2013 we would have Albirex Niigata (1st place in 2nd stage) vs Omiya Ardija (2nd place in 1st stage) in the semifinal
#25 is from Kawasaki U18 team, yet looked really good today. I'm looking for his name as he's labeled as "trainee" by match reports.
Hello! I do not know if I'm writing right place, but I will go to japan during July 26 to August 10. So I 've decided to watch a football match between FC Tokyo and Vegalta Sendai on 29 july. Then my question how and where to buy tickets to the match? I also want to know where you can buy jerseys of FC Tokyo in Tokyo. Greetings from Sweden Viva la U
There are a few ways to get tickets. You can usually buy them at any convenience store (7/11, Family Mart, etc.) from the ticketing machine. Another way is from the club's website they have a place to buy them online. Or you can also buy them at the stadium on game day. For jersey's Tokyo FC has an online store and a team store near the stadium. Also soccer stores in Tokyo will have almost all the J League team's jerseys. For example Kamo or B&D.
