Why not? Setting aside my biased perspective for a minute, I think Kobayashi could provide good competition among the strikers as he offers a nice balance of pace, movement, linkage play and finishing. Off topic but I met someone from Japan visiting California on a business trip last week, and the conversation topic shifted to soccer - I mentioned that I support Frontale and he told me he played against Kobayashi in high school. He said Kobayashi's pace was absolutely unstoppable.
