Kofu upsets Nagoya, Danny Vukovic with a less than great debut in Shizuoka, Reysol turn it around vs Urawa, Tokusima lose again, Tokyo wins deservedly at home vs Kashima while Gamba - Kobe ends with a 2-0 home-win.

as I said in the other thread, yeah it was kind of surprising to see Tokyo's B team upset Kashima that way.

Gamba wasted a lot of chances.

Sagan thought they had a chance against us in the Ibaraki trophy. Think again

Great 'small' Saitama Derby. 20k supporters on midweek game, Urawa won and Aoki didn't seem like someone who feels that he owes a lot to Ardija after he scored ;)

Original method from Vissel's coach Adachi. Seems it worked out fine as they won 3:0 against Kashima.

Why not? Setting aside my biased perspective ;) for a minute, I think Kobayashi could provide good competition among the strikers as he offers a nice balance of pace, movement, linkage play and finishing.

Off topic but I met someone from Japan visiting California on a business trip last week, and the conversation topic shifted to soccer - I mentioned that I support Frontale and he told me he played against Kobayashi in high school. He said Kobayashi's pace was absolutely unstoppable.

Addendum: Renato should meet residency requirements for naturalization before the 2018 World Cup! ;)
