That's what everyone thought when he played at Arsenal. Looks completely reborn at Roma.

Yes, he can't finish, but creates a lot of opportunities and this enough for a winger...isn't a central forward. Is a great player.

He looks exactly the same at Roma. No end product.

Yes, which is why I said "with Drogba waiting in the middle". He set up both goals today. That's a pretty good end product for me.

I really hate these slideshow-caption-blurb-top-10 features a la Bleacher Report. (Who doesn't?) It's one of the worst drawbacks of the web ad CPM business model. Too bad there are only like 10 actual soccer journalists in the US.

I mentioned before that Tulio is one of my all-time favorite Japanese NT players. That's why I really hope he doesn't turn into an incoherent, rambling donkey in retirement like his compatriots *cough* Ruy Ramos *cough* Sergio Echigo...

Seems that the game against Ivory Coast will be moved from 7 PM to 10 PM (Brazil time)?

That also means that for europeans, it will be in the middle of the night. :D

He's saying the usual "I'm here if you need me - but hey it's not really about me, I just want what's best for Japan."

Yeah he is right though. Why not give it a fkcing try. I don't care, I would feel safer with him than the two others.

Why would you give him a try, there's two matches left before the world cup and he was owned by any kind of forwards this year... He even admits that it wasn't a good season himself, I've already linked in these months some goals where he is doing literally nothing...

Tulio sounds really silly, until you recall that Chunichi is just an internal propaganda newsletter for brainwashing Nagoyans. He's only preaching to the choir in that sense.

TBH I wouldn't have been surprised if Grampus put Tulio on their spring cleaning list along with the others, but no one else is likely willing to pay his wages.

That's how it looks like for the moment, yes. One in march and one in may
I hope there can be a last minute friendly in june too, but the squad has to be announced at the end of may.

Call Tulio for the match against Ivory Coast so he can break some limbs and rock on the pitch scoring by head leaving Havenaar and Maeda unemployed.
