If Havenaar keeps scoring in Eredivise (10 or plus), it's hard to leave him out of the picture.

Havenaar will be there for sure. Too tall, too scores, too european to miss the next WC.

Hirayama scored a hattrick, that's the end of Tamada and Okubo !

Perhaps because of the height and because he plays in European Eredivisie but this year Vitesse wont do so good. You can quote me. Bony gone and some other departures as well

Problem is Haveenar isnt playing as a ST but rather somewhat AMC position. There Japan does not need him

Sure but Zac want a tall guy and if J-League guys will kick out Maeda, Mike will be the chosen one.

Regardless of the actual outcome of the tournament, I'd say it's been a success on balance because it proves we have (multiple) striker alternatives with potential. Who knows, they might not cut with the A squad, but at the very least, they can't be much worse than Maeda.

Actually Zac praised Toyoda A LOT after the game saying his play was 'great' and that he only lacked a goal. So there a pretty big chance we'll see him at least against Urugay it seems...

I don't think Havenaar will be "the starter".
    Like, ever.

Cause he aint exactly producing much in attack, same reason why they are obsessed with Maeda latetly or Endo or the central defense

I thought Toyoda looked quite good, quite dangerous in the air unlike the other 2. Sound technically, and physical. I hope he gets the nod against SK.

how many strikers does Japan have in the EAFF squad? Toyoda and Osako? there are those who are FW, but more like Attacking midfielders like Kakitani, Saito, which I think is a alternative to Okazaki AMR role.

Kudo as well but they played him in a right wing role
