New season kicked off, time for a new thread I guess.

I'll keep doing what I did before- that is, post everything J's Goal (which is J.League's media and news website) reports.

    15/03/2013

    - Cerezo Osaka will loan North Korean centreback Song-Gi Kim (24) to Vissel Kobe. Kim, who was actually born in Himeji, joined Cerezo in 2011 after graduating from Korea University. In these two seasons he only started once, against Consadole last season.
    - New goalkeepers for quite a handful of teams. Sagan Tosu gets a "JFA designated player" in Eisuke Fujishima (21), who has been playing for Ohzu High School in Kumamoto and Fukuoka University. Tochigi SC promotes Kosuke Morimoto from their junior team to the first squad, while Shimizu S-Pulse picked Yuya Miura (23), who spent 2012 (his first season as a pro) with Kashiwa Reysol and later on loan to Matsumoto Yamaga, never seeing the pitch in an official game. He actually has a few pro experience in his pockets though, as Tsukuba University's GK in the 2011 Emperor's cup.
    - Another JFA recommended player is Ryutaro Shibata (20), who will play as a midfielder for Tochigi SC while studying at Takushoku University. Shibata doesn't have any pro team experience- he played for school teams and local clubs in his home prefecture of Nagasaki.
    - Vissel Kobe secures a young Korean defender, Yoon-Goo Gang (20), picked from Dong-A University in Busan, South Korea.

Only now I noticed that Lenny is not at Kofu anymore; his contract was cancelled after less than two months! Does anyone knows what happened?

He had some serious injury which later on came up as he didn't regain match fitness until the start of the season. Sad but good luck to him!

    - Oita Trinita signed a Brazilian defensive midfielder, Rodrigo Mancha (26), from Serie A team Vitoria. Mancha has figured on the pitch fairly costantly for several Serie A and B teams the past seasons. Oita is his first abroad adventure.
    - Another JFA recommended player (<- if someone could give me a better translation for this, it'd be warmly welcome) found a home in J1. Midfielder Kazuki Nakasawa (22) joined Yokohama F. Marinos, where he will wear shirt no. 37. He is currently attending Senshu University in Tokyo. Marinos will be his first team- he only played for schools or local clubs in his youth career.

    - Transfermarkt reports that Ventforet Kofu signed Paraguayan striker Jose Ortigoza (25), who was released from CSL club Shandong Luneng before the start of the season. Ortigoza has played in South America for most of his career, and had stints as a starter in the Brazilian Serie A with Palmeiras and Cruzeiro. A 2010 loan to Ulsan Hyundai in South Korea proved very successful- he scored 17 goals for the club, and got called up for some of his NT's friendlies. He scored 3 times in 5 appearances. Last season he joined Shandong, where he though failed to estabilish himself as a starter.
    - Sagan Tosu recently released Diego (19), a Colombian striker they signed together with a fellow compatriot Jonathan (who is still in the squad). Diego never even made the bench for Sagan, while Jonathan started last week's Nabisco fixture against Tokyo, which ended in a draw.

    - Sanfrecce Hiroshima promotes two youngsters to the first squad- Hayao Watabe (born in 1995) and Kazuya Miyahara (born in 1996) Both are midfielders (Watabe is an AM, while Miyahara a DM) and played for Japan's youth national teams the past seasons, other than a handful of nationwide competitions with Sanfrecce Youth. Watabe already figured on the bench for the ACL game against Beijing.

He's described at the 'number 1 University level player in Japan' in articles. Played in Kanto Region Div.1 last year, nabbed something like 18 assists and 12 goals. Bomber and Shunsuke have said good things about him after his first training run this week. In one article it was said he'll debut in the Nabisco Cup match against Omiya Ardija.

I finally got to see him today (on local TV, not in person), and he looks big, powerful and quick. Dont know if he can push out Hugo, who already has three goals and some good rapport with fans, but at least now there is another option. Also Jofuku is reportedly considering a 3-5-2 possibility, to give guys like Hanyu and Kashiwa more space on the wings.

Sure wish Yamamoto and Aoyama would get healthy, though....

I wonder if he's related to Nestor Ortigoza, who I remember seeing palying against Japan at the WC or Kirin Cup. He was pretty stocky as well, looked more like a rugby player.

    - According to Transfermarkt (J's Goal only updates once a week on Fridays...) Kawasaki Frontale released leftback Junichi Tanaka (19), who had joined the Kanagawa dolphins straight from high school last season. He never played for them this season, while he figured on the pitch three times last season to covere for injured leftback Akito Fukumori.

    - Ventforet Kofu released CB Douglas Santos. According to J's Goal, the player's contract expired and it wasn't renewed (googletranslated it, actually.). Douglas joined the Vine-and-blue at the beginning of last season, and started around half of the games in their victorious J2 campaign. This season he only apperared on the pitch once, against S-Pulse in the Nabisco Cup.
    - It's time for Fagiano Okayama's roster cleansing, with 13 registered players sent to Fagiano Okayama Next in the Chugoku League. We are talking about Takuya Yamamoto, Daimu Go, Tsubasa Takeuchi, Tsuyoshi Shinchu, Ryo Iida, Takashi Nishihara, Naoki Miyata, Kazuya Sakamoto, Takahiro Kanemitsu, Shuhei Matsuhara Hidemasa Kobayashi, Kosuke Fujioka, Naoto Yorotoku. Except for the last three, who are playing their first pro season, all the other players have been subjected to the same treatment the past years as well. Chugoku League kicks off in a week, and Fagiano Next will be one of the top contenders.

This Friday's J's Goal update is mostly movements between clubs and their youth teams. Please tell me if I got it wrong, but these are players that aren't part of the first squads, but members of the youth team that can be called up for the first team in case of necessity (Google doesn't really help, that seemed the most logical thing).
    http://www.jsgoal.jp/news/_prog/vie...[team1]=443&search[keyword]=&search[team]=443

    - Anyways, here is a list of the people who have been moving around:
Yokohama F.Marinos: Forwards Tomoya Fukasawa, Hayate Take, Koya Yuruki, midfielder Sho Hayasaka and goalkeeper Junto Taguchi. They are all '95 except for Taguchi who is a year younger. They have all spent their youth career with Marinos, and thus attend different high schools in Yokohama.
Kashiwa Reysol: goalkeeper Shunsuke Ito, who was with the Japanese squad at the Dr.Pepper Cup in Dallas recently. As a member of Kashiwa youth he won the U-18 championship last season.
Roasso Kumamoto: goalkeeper Shun Matsuoka, defender Kenta Yanagida and midfielders Shintaro Shimada, Shuhei Kamimura and Yuki Ikeya. They are all 1995 and spent their youth playing for several clubs around Kumamoto.
    - The only "real" move comes from V-Varen Nagasaki. The Kyushu based team can now count on South Korean defender Min-Woo Cho ('92) who joined the mighty ducks on loan from Korean champions FC Seoul. Cho never played for Seoul, or any other clubs for that matter. He played for Korean youth NTs in the past.

Hayate looks like a promising player after watching some of his plays against Australia last year, and a pretty cool name too.

Kazuya Murata to Shimizu... I always liked him. Hope he can see some regular playing-time there. Apparently he was trying out for some MLS-clubs as well.

    Friday update from J's Goal!

    - Kazuya Murata joined Shimizu S-Pulse on a permanent deal from Cerezo Osaka. The 25 years old winger spent the past two seasons with the pink side of Osaka, but was mostly used as a sub.
    - After Jose Ortigoza Ventforet Kofu signed a new south-american player, this time from more tradizional Brazil. We are talking about defensive midfielder Marquinhos Parana, who was released at the beginning of the year from America Mineiro. Parana has solid experience with top-class Brazilian clubs such as Cruzeiro and Figueirense, and he also had a stint in Japan at Jubilo Iwata in 2007. Only problem is that he is not exactly young- he is 35 years old.
    - Nagoya Grampus loaned young winger Taizuke Mizuno (20) to FC Gifu. Mizuno has been included in Grampus' first squad for two years in a row, but has yet to play an official game with them. He will wear jersey no.28.
    - Gifu gets another deal done- forward Hiroki Higuchi (21) is back to the team where he spent most of 2012, on another loan deal from Shimizu S-Pulse. Higuchi never played for the Shizuoka team, but had a successful season with the western Chubu team, starting a good 32 J2 games last season and scoring six goals for them. Will this be a solution to Gifu's scoring woes?
    - Roasso Kumamoto signed defender Ryota Sakata (21) from Kanoya Taiiku University. Sakata, who was born in Kumamoto prefecture, has played for Kumamoto United and attended high school in Ohzu- a regular Emperor's Cup representer for Kumamoto prefecture.
    - Gamba Osaka implements some youngsters from their youth team to their first squad: they are goalkeeper Mizuki Hayashi, defenders Kazuma Wada and Yuto Uchida and midfielders Naoki Ogawa and Yosuke Ideguchi. Wada, Uchida and Ogawa were born in 1995, while Hayashi and Ideguchi are an year younger.

    19/04/2013 update

    - It's Gifu again picking up scraps from J1 teams- assuming we can call Shimizu S-Pulse youth prospects... and I'm pretty sure we can't. The dead last team in J2 brings home Makoto Shibahara, a young ('92) winger who has been included in the Shizuoka-based club's lineup since 2011, even though he never played a league game with them- he figured on the pitch twice last season, as a starter in the Nabisco Cup against Kashima Antlers (not in the final- in the group stage clash), and as a sub in the Emperor's Cup in the early rounds against Arterivo Wakayama.
    - Goalkeeper Daisuke Tada ('82) was signed by Cerezo Osaka, the team where his career began. Tada has never been a starting goalkeeper for any team in his long career, though he enjoyed some playing time at the beginning of last season with FC Gifu, where he was on loan from Gainare Tottori until Shogo Tokihisa took his place in the starting eleven.
    - Some JFA recommended players and youth teams movements took place this week as well.
FC Tokyo signed defender Riku Matsuda ('91) from Biwako Seikei Sport College. Kashima Antlers got forward Shuhei Akasaki ('91) from Tsukuba University. They also made GK Hayato Koizumi ('95) eligible to play in the first squad (if I got that right?). To conclude, Albirex Niigata promoted a 18 years old goalkeeper from their youth team as well- that's Sho Honda.

Not much happened apart from some movement around Fagiano Okayama.
    - Forward Kosuke Fujioka (born in 1994) was promoted to the first squad from Fagiano Okayama Next. Defender Kazuya Okazaki ('91) and midfielder Takanori Hatano ('94) are instead relegated from J2 to the Chugoku league side. Hatano has been a 2013 addition to the squad, while Okazaki is used to these frequent movements between Fagiano and FagiNext- he already went through it in both 2010 and 2011. Last season he actually enjoyed some crumbs of J2 play, starting a game against Tottori and entering twice as a sub.

I think it went unnoticed somehow, but from the start of May until 26 august, the young and very talented Yuki Horigome is on loan from Ventforet to Roasso.
Scored yesterday in his debut the first goal in Roasso's win against Mito (PK).
    Left footed,very creative winger,class '92.
