Glad to see the Beleza ladies showing up in true "Lunch Pail" style! No team bus, instead a couple of mini-vans. No matching outfit stuff, just what ever is comfortable!!

Can't find a link I'm afraid. It's a pity, because it's a high quality match. I won't say anything about the game in case people want to watch it later.

    Sorry, I can't find any.

Now I'm reading a live forum, Iwabuchi seems injured.
    Really worried.

Yes, she was injured, foot injury. She came back on but was crying on the bench, Noda trying to console her. We'll see if she comes back on. She was the best player on the pitch, looked like she was trying to show the world that she's the future.

Sigh, half-time now and I couldn't watch anything about the L-League "clasico". :(
Just have to follow it on the Nadeshiko League site with no video-coverage. I am sad. :(
I am also sad if Iwabuchi got really injured. And very worried, at less than 2 months from Olympics!

Iwabuchi has been subtituted, Tanaka is on.

Meanwhile no-one seems to have scored in other matches, that are quite at half-time...

She wasn't even listed, so I presume you mean Nakata? And is Mana just on the bench getting attention? I ho pe she didnt re-break the same foot.

Belle is winning 1 -0 over Sayama. It seems Nagamachi was not available (off with the u-17s on tour) so they played Nakamura instead - who never played a minute before. Yokayama relegated to the bench after her 90 last week. Bizarre coach!

    It's Tanaka Mina, I think.

Yes, Tanaka Mina, number 19. Nothing has happened in the second half yet.

whoops, yeah, it seems i was wrong in my previous statement about other matches.
Also, Iga is winning 1-0 vs Speranza Takatsuki.

Talking about Belle's coach, Kaori Taneda, I always wondered if she's a former Nadeshiko player too, like Beleza's Akemi Noda...

Iwabuchi is on the bench with an ice pack on her foot, doesn't look to be in pain, so problably not broken.

Kaori Taneda played for a few teams, Beleza included.

You are implying that she didn't reach National Team anyway?
    What role she was playing?

Her bio in the book and on the website don't mention her playing internationals, I don't know any more than that.

Urawa's game is on live now, on BS241 for anyone in Japan, the opening goal has just been scored.

And for Urawa, poor Kohata is nowhere to be seen.

I see that Jeff is playing Yamane as GK away to Albi and is winning 0-1 thanks to another goal from tinu ex=Belle Hosaka.

Never forget this foul ;___; (keeping proof online in purpose BTW)...
And Kira is resting (in a way) = good coach :)

Ohno was the victim of a similar tackle by Kobayashi, though she could continue after some treatment.

Looked like it was her ankle maybe? I thought for a minute she'd have to go off early as a precaution but she continued to the end.

Anclas are playing ok in this game actually. They've been a lot worse.

Did I get it right that it's her replacement, Michi Goto (aka Goto Unknown :giggle:), who scored for Urawa?

You said similar foul, so I imagined the wrong scene. Anyway, strong small player.

I guess probably Anclas are not as bad as they seem watching their results: it's just that other Nadeshiko League teams are really high quality, this year...

And next season, with Vegalta Sendai Ladies, overall quality will rocket even higher...
I guess next season it couldn't even happen that some team that we don't expect will fight to avoid relegation...

No, I mean similar in that when I saw I reckoned everyone would say "Hey, now you know what it feels like!"

Michi Goto scored for Urawa, Wada has just had a screamer hit the post. I think it was Wada anyway. They've hit the woodwork twice in a few minutes.

That's not what I was thinking about Kira. I didnt think she was good last week at all. Perhaps the team depends too much on Arakawa, who is incredibly fit and can dribble, but it somehow doesnt seem to work.

Well lets hope its not the 6 month holiday for Kohata.

Edit - looking at the scorelines, such low scores, way more competitive than it used to be, even just a month ago.
