had a good team, especially in offense, and lost all 3 matches ... would have loved to see more of those guys at that time

this year, we will have to see, not so much hype in advance unlike 2 years ago i think ... maybe take a look at Minamino, Akino, Kawaguchi (quite liked that guy as right back position in the qualifying games) and maybe some others, dunno

 

A great team. I'm still bitter. The game against Mexico was ... That was not even close but they couldn't find the target. Horrible.
And I'm still making nightmares of Kamita ............

So far I'm unimpressed

I don't feel that its fair to compare, but they are not even close to as good as the 2009 team.

Even though the defense for the 2009 team sucked alot, the midfield was godly.

 

Final ball has been really bad

 

Shoot FFS. Why is Suzuki playing as a forward BTW ? Why is the smallest player of the team fighting against two giants ?
