Da Silva is having a horrible game. In general the whole team is playing complete shit. This key is preety much over IMO.

It worked out up until the ref decided to leave Toluca one man down handing a BS red card to Morales. Cucuta showed a lot of heart from the start of the game even after they were down 0-1 and probably would have won the game but theres no doubt in my mind had the game been played 11 against 11 evenly if would have not been no damn 5-1 final !!!!

Besides that key red card by the ref Tolucas' defense completely fell apart!!! Viades had a game to FORGET and you would never be able to tell he was NT material by watching him play tonigt! Cristante is DONE and needs to be replaced by a younger keeper. And to top it off I really dont think Tolo Gallego cares too much for this team either, he knows he is on his way out, he should have made a quick substitution as soon as Morales got that red card, he waiting too long and doesnt seem to have those smart coaching instincts or coaching decisions that he once had when he first toook over this team.

By the time he made that substitution it was already too late, Toluca had 2 o 3 goals on them already and tonight wasnt Gallegos' first signs that he is losing this team or just not caring, its been happening in our liga for a while and it also happened a while back when he was handed a 3-0 defeat to Boca and didnt even looked bothered by it, instead he was out there all smiles with his Argie compadres!!!

I hear now that Cardozo may be the next head coach in Toluca!!! I think that is just what they need! somebody that feels la camiseta and knows what its like to play for that team and those fans! he may not have ANY coaching school or much experience in the subject but it has been proven that great players such as Figueroa, D. Franco, H. Sanchez and others dont need too much time to prepare for this and they have been doing a very good job at coaching in the little time they have been doing this for, so im sure Cardozo would do just fine....

 

i agree, the first 15 minutes i thought it would be a goleada going the other way... but one red card does not make 5 goals understandable. toluca looked like amateurs, and they are lucky it wasnt 7-1 because of the great chances that cucuta missed. this isnt the time for excuses, because there are no excuses for what happened tonight. a 2 or even 3-1 would be understandable off that red card but 5-1??

and cardozo is completely unproven as a head coach so his potential is a huge question mark, so to say he would be better than gallego who has kept toluca an elite team in the domestic league is really premature

Yes he may be unproven, unknown and inexperience and you want but so was Hugo Sanchez when he took over Pumas and made him Bi-campeones, Dario Franco did a very good job with Morelia coming in at halfway into the season, Figueroa with Morelia is doing a great job as well only in his first season and I can give you many more examples.

Im not saying that Cardozo is suddenly better than Tolo Gallego but its clear that Gallego is on his way out of Toluca and he is not coaching to his potential, I think its obvious that it reflects on the players and what some of those players need right now in someone to come in and once again injects that fire and that will to win to some of them and to make changes as well, because some of those players are not deserving of a starting position they way they are playing out there.

 

No tampoco te vallas a extremos! por favor!!!!! lo que paso con America y Libertad es otro juego, otra situacion totalmente aislada a lo que paso anoche. Ese America que jugo contra Paraguay no tenia ni a Ochoa, ni a los Rojas, ni a Blanco, Villa entre otros ! A final de cuentas se califico y se le gano al mismo Libertad en su propia casa asi que no fue para tanto!

Lo que paso anoche es algo similar! un partido, una situacion aislada donde es CLARO que esa tarjeta influyo varvaridades!!!! y NO ES UNA EXCUSA! alguna vas alguno de ustedes a jugado futbol a tipo amateur por lo menos??? o incluso a nivel de LLano??? si no es asi JAMAS sabran la gran diferencia que causa a un equipo perder a un solo jugador en la cancha! Eso sin duda destapo al equipo rival e influyo una varvaridad!!!! y no fue al final del partido, sino a los 20, 25 mins. del primer tiempo. AHORA eso junto con las malas decisiones de Gallego de no hacer un cambio rapido despues de la expulsion a Morales y la noche espantosa de La defensa y de Cristante fueron factores claves para el resultado final.

Creo que gallego hubiera estado mejor defendiendo un 4-1 en vez de meter a scocco y sacar a un defensa. Al final eso le costo todavia un gol extra y casi la eliminacion. Creo que con un 4-1 todavia no estaba decidido nada, 3 goles no son nada imposibles de revertir sobretodo en casa pero ahora teniendo que hacer 4 y no recibir ninguno eso si lo veo muy dificil. No es imposible y ese equipo de Cucuta es medio patarato asi que se les puede meter pero la verdad como anda Toluca ahorita, sin poder contar con Morales para ese partido de vuelta no se como o conque pudan meter 4 goles sin recibir ninguno.

Estoy de acuerdo con Zihna87, si perdemos hay que perder luchando con todo y dejandolo todo en la cancha. Ya se nos perjudico en el primer juego y pues ni modo. Ahora no estoy de acuerdo en que esto seria una de las mas grandes verguenzas, PARA NADA... Bueno si al toluca le meten otros 4 en casa entonces si pueden decir eso pero verguenza mas grande fue la que hicieron los pumas hace un año cuando no ganaron ningun partido en Libertadores y se fueron rapiditio!!! esa si es Verguenza pero lo que paso con Toluca anoche fue tambien influencia del arbitro y una situacion totalmente diferente a las demas. Es mas estuvo mas cerca V. Sanchez del 2-0 que el Cucuta de empatar y no cabe ninguna DUDA en mi mente que esa tarjeta Roja cambio el destino del juego por COMPLETO!!!!!

 

Bueno pues hay que ver, todavia falta la vuelta. A ver si a nosotros tambien nos mandan unos de esos arbitritos que por ahi dejen al Cucuta tambien con un hombre menos por la mayor parte del juego a ver si no se les compica tambien a esos cabrones!!!!

This is another thing that pisses me off about the FMF, why in da hell dont they push Conmebol into having Mexican officials for this tournaments as well? it would only be fair and equal that way!!!! as long as we continue to be at the mercy of Conmebol directivos, their decisions and their officiating we will continue to fight an uphill battle on all of these games without true fairness.

 

Lo que hizo Toluca fue peor que mediocre. Fue un desastre.

No es excusa pero si cre que el arrbitro influyo un poco, claro tenia que ser argentino,

Y respecto a lo de cristante, el no ha bajado su nivel, el ya no tiene nada que hacer en el futbol, aparte de que yas es viejo, se hizo muy maleton de la noche a la mañana, ojala toluca considere al gordo becerra para el de vuelta, y no namas pa el de vuelta ya para siempre, cristante ya no tiene nivel asi de facil, ya es muy torpe, y rosada tambien se ha hecho torpe en la cancha

Porque no nombras a Da Silva? Aparte de un horrible torneo a tenido una horrible Copa Libertadores como en el partido de ayer. Casi todos los goles pasaron por la zona de el.
