Was Cristante playing in the game? He may be a big factor to Toluca's success

Gallego sends the B team to Cusco. Cienciano is playing very good soccer. It could be ugly.

    Toluca defeated Cienciano, 2-1.

Goals were by Diego De la Torre off a free kick at 71' and Moisés Velasco at 88'.

moises velasco is only 17,so he might be the youngest mexican player to score on this competition

Amazing, Gallego sends B team, doesn't even fly to Peru, at half I was checking the Chivas v. Monterrey and the commentators where calling this Toluca the Atletico Mexiquense and said it was logical for Mexiquense to lose in Peru. After that I judge unecessary to watch the rest of Mexiquense v. Cienciano, go figure my surprise when Mexiquense ended up beating Cienciano in Peru.

Lesson, Toluca can send its Primera A franchise to Peru without the coach and still win.

Toluca, still undefeated in all games played this campaign, regardless of the continent. Of course, a win rather than a draw on Mexican soil would be nice one of these days.

Great game by Toluca's B team, the only starters for the A team were Hasan and Esquivel I believe.

When Cienciano scored I thought it was gonna turn ugly for Toluca, but when Toluca tied and they started putting Cienciano against the wall I thought maybe they could pull it off.

All 3 teams started the right way, but for some reason I don't see any one of them particularly stronger, at least not strong enough to win the cup. America and Toluca have really strong teams, but America always chokes in semis, and Toluca isn't the same without a 9 like Marioni. Vicente won't be able to handle all the offensive tasks by himself.

Zinha has been horrible all night. Will this be the first time a Bolivian team wins on Mexican turf?
