    Just two? i can recognize 5 :p

    But maybe you should post these pics into the Nadeshiko League-Thread, because it's all from Beleza and not really from Nadeshiko Japan :)

    Well, I saw a few internationals ....

    But seriously, can you show me the five ?

    All I see are the two "kids" in front. Oh wait I see Yoyabashi - sorry, I know I have botched the spelling, but she is the blog owner, and I think she wears 7 or 8 for Beleza..... actually anyone looking at her blog would think she is just a fan too, never a player, and a good player at that.

    I dont think I see either of the Nagasuto's (that's not Asano front right), and really only the girl second from right is a familiar face, but I have no idea who she is (without looking up the Beleza website anyway).

    OK.........I would say to that, I recognise Nakachi from other photos, but never heard her name before.

    As for Toyoda, is her first name Nayuha or something ? Months ago I saw a blog (UK I think?) where she was like their pin-up girl, I think she played international at one time ? She is pretty for sure !

    Actually Kobayashi has a new pic -

    Nice. Now, if only they could play soccer, they would be super-models !

    (that was a joke .... :rolleyes:)

    :eek: :eek: :eek:

    How did she get hurt so early in the year ?

    Actually I found the entry -

    http://ameblo.jp/yuuki-n-19/day-20090312.html

    All I can make out from a google-translate is "serious pain" - which is hardly a surprise.

    i'm pretty sure they were having training matches.

    she said that, "it [the blood blister] really hurts right after you get it, so be careful."

    (is she a former NTV player ?)

    Also, terrible ball skills - what can we teach her ?

    Also, I dont think Yuki is very self-conscious -

    Re: Official Japanese WOMEN'S NT Thread [R]

    for those in the u.s., the sol vs. the freedom just kicked off and stupid fox soccer channel people misspelled miyama's name as 'miyami' when they introduced the starting elevens. she's playing an attacking mid role behind duan and marta for the sol, and sawa is starting in the midfield for the freedom.

    Re: Official Japanese WOMEN'S NT Thread [R]

    WRR, can I ask a favor please, this is a newly posted UTube video of one of my favorite players, Iwashimizu, just after cruelling missing the Oluympic medal, and I would like to know what the conversation is .....

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEIADPXBC8Q"]YouTube - 2008?8?28?[/ame]

    Also there is this new one, a personal portrait of Arakawa -

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Dv1XZAJhNE"]YouTube - 2007?7?7????2[/ame]

    You know, I was very surprised in the end when 3 out of 4 invited to the WPA actually said "yes" - because the money is poor, the language is strange, and these girls are not like 19-20 - but also, unlike say a European player or a Brazilian player, it strikes me that Japan is largely a one-culture country (which is great, I know, I grew up that way). What do you think ?

    Re: Official Japanese WOMEN'S NT Thread [R]

    The situation is somewhat similar to that for Japanese pro baseball players. To them, United States Major League Baseball is the ultimate place to demonstrate their abilities. If you watch Japanese TV news, you'll notice that in the sports section, it's the MLB players who get top billing and have film clips of their performances shown first, i.e., Ichiro, Matsuzaka, etc. The same goes for women's soccer, the United States is the leader. It's much like male soccer players wanting to test themselves in Europe.
