I'm sure it's just not been updated on the Auditor's website yet. I mean why would he tell a bunch of people that he's already bought a place downtown if it wasn't true? It's not like he has a history of lying about that specific subject. You gotta give the man the benefit of the doubt.

There are a number of reasons (particularly these recent posts) why he would create a legal entity that is not named Jay Anthony Precourt, Jr. to purchase a property. Either that or the auditor's website is lagging.

 

So the guy bought a condo in Austin. Will his wife live there? His kids gonna enroll in the local schools?

And he isn't going to live there either. If people in Austin think this means he's going to live there from now on, they're dumber than I thought they were. Which ain't easy.

Sure. I don't know a whole lot about the ownership groups, but I'm certain that there's another who would be better. Just as I love what FSG has done with Liverpool, but I wouldn't mind a giant pile of petrodollars behind the operation.

 

If I hadn't seen that absolutely ridiculous hymnal chart last night, I would say comparing the Henrys to Precourt and Liverpool to Austin FC qualifies as the worst soccer take in the history of soccer takes. Holy Christ, the stupidity knows no bounds.

 

After the rather massive own goal of the "hymnal", et. al., it's probably really good for Broccolitown (the only place grackles are found, dontcha know?) that the news cycle will move on for nearly 24 months.
